본 발명은, 중하중 차량용 공기입 타이어에 관한 것으로, 특히 전륜용으로 사용되는 리브형 타이어에 관한 것이다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to pneumatic tires for heavy load vehicles, and more particularly to ribbed tires used for front wheels.
트럭이나 버스 등과 같은 중하중 차량의 타이어는 전륜용으로는 직진 주행 성능과 조향성이 우수한 리브(Rib)형의 타이어를 사용하며, 후륜으로는 견인력이 우수한 블록형의 타이어를 사용하는 것이 보통이다. 본 발명은 이와 같이 중하중 차량의 전륜용으로 사용되는 리브형의 타이어에 관한 것이다.Heavy-duty vehicle tires such as trucks and buses use rib-type tires having excellent driving performance and steering characteristics for the front wheels, and block-type tires having excellent traction force are generally used for the rear wheels. 리브형의 타이어에 있어서는, 숄더부에 인접한 그루브에 맞닿아 있는 리브는 타이어가 종하중을 받으며 회전을 할 때 상하 진동에 따라 불균일한 접지 압력을 받게 된다. 그렇기 때문에 이 부분에서는 리브(Rib)의 중심부와 접지 압력에서 차이가 나게 됨에 따라 리브의 가장자리를 따라서 원주 방향으로 흡사 계단과 같은 단차 마모(Rail wear)가 발생할 가능성이 많다. 종래에는 이러한 현상을 방지하기 위하여 첨부된 도면 도 1 에 도시되는 바와 같이, 숄더부에 인접한 그루브(3)에 맞닿아 있는 양쪽 리브(21)(22)의 가장자리 부분에 래디알 방향으로 다수의 사이프(Sipe)(5)를 형성시켜 왔다. 그러나 노면이 험한 도로를 주행하는 일이 많은 중차량의 경우, 이러한 사이프(5)는 리브(21)(22)의 측면에 손상이 발생하는 일을 가중시키는 원인이 되어 왔다.In the rib-type tire, the rib which is in contact with the groove adjacent to the shoulder part is subjected to uneven ground pressure due to vertical vibration when the tire is rotated under the longitudinal load. 인너라이너와 카카스, 벨트 및 트레드(1)로 구성되고, 트레드(1)에 수개의 리브(21, 22)가 형성되며 리브(21) 사이에 그루브(3)가 형성된 중하중 차량용 리브형 타이어에 있어서, 본 발명은 숄더부에 인접한 그루브(3)의 양측에 맞닿아 있는 리브(21, 22)의 가장 자리에 원주 방향으로 다수의 홈(4)을 등간격으로 설치하는 것을 특징으로 한다.Rib-type tire for a heavy-duty vehicle, which is composed of an inner liner, a carcass, a belt, and a tread 1, and several ribs 21 and 22 are formed in the tread 1, and a groove 3 is formed between the ribs 21.
