Abstract

PURPOSE: A fingerprint sensor capable of discriminating a living body through the blood flow measurement is provided to certify a real fingerprint by installing a sensor measuring the blood flow of a human to a fingerprint input device. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting part(10) of the sensor transfers the signal and a receiving part(12) receives the signal. If the blood flow exists, the variance of the receiving quantity is detected by a detection part(20). If an object having no blood flow is placed between a light emitting part and the receiving part, a constant waveform is appeared. In case of the living body, the waveform according to the blood flow is detected by the detection part.

Description

Fingerprint sensor using blood flow to recognize living bodies}Fingerprint sensor using blood flow to recognize living bodies

The present invention relates to fingerprint recognition in the field of biometrics, the fingerprint input device used in the current fingerprint recognition device is difficult to read the biometrics in the process of reading the fingerprint, risk of duplication and death of the person You can also authenticate by using your fingers.

Therefore, the present invention is to complete the security by attaching a sensor that can measure the blood flow of a person to the fingerprint input device currently used to check whether the living body at the time of fingerprint authentication to be fingerprint authentication only if the living organism.

FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating a principle of measuring blood flow, and FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating a principle of reading a living body as a waveform appearing during measurement. 3 is a diagram of a biometric fingerprint sensor in combination with a biometric sensor.

Referring to Figure 1, an example of a sensor for measuring the blood flow of a living body which is the core of the present invention is shown. In FIG. 1, a signal is transmitted from a transmitter 10 of a sensor to a top of a finger 1 and a signal is received from a receiver 12. In this process, if there is a flow of blood flow, a change in the reception amount accordingly is detected. Is detected. However, when a general object without blood flow is placed between the light emitting unit 10 and the receiving unit 12, a constant waveform appears. Referring to FIG. 2, in the case of living organisms, the waveform A1 according to the flow of blood flow is detected by the detection unit, and in the case of non-living organisms, the waveform A2 appears. In addition, in FIG. 1, a transmission method for measuring the transmission unit and the receiving unit by moving them up and down, and a reflection method for reflecting and measuring the angle at the plane of the finger are also possible.

3 is a diagram illustrating a fingerprint sensor capable of determining whether a living body is combined with the blood flow measuring apparatus described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 with an existing fingerprint recognition apparatus.

That is, the current fingerprint sensor emits light from the LED 50 when the finger 30 is placed on the prism, and the fingerprint recognition module 53 reads the signal reflected from the finger 30 from the CMOS camera sensor 52. In the fingerprint image acquisition and comparison to determine whether or not. In addition, the blood flow measurement transmitter sensor 40 emits a signal, and part of the blood flow in the finger 30 is transmitted and the other part is reflected and received by the blood flow measurement receiver 42. The detection unit 43 detects this to determine whether the living body. In this case, the signals of the fingerprint recognition unit 53 and the bioreader 43 generate the final authentication signal and the failure signal through the AND circuit 54. This is an example of an application, and the actual transmission method and the reflection method can be applied to both optical and semiconductor fingerprint input devices.

It is possible to eliminate anxiety factors for replication or surrogate authentication, depending on whether or not biometric reading is a problem of the existing fingerprint recognition device, and it is possible to use the fingerprint recognition device as a more secure system.
