BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a touch panel, and more particularly, to a touch panel employing a compensation electrode pattern for preventing wire electrode disconnection that employs an ITO compensation electrode pattern in order to prevent disconnection of a wiring part electrode formed of Ag.

1 is a view illustrating wiring electrodes of a conventional touch panel. As shown in the drawing, in the conventional touch panel, the ITO wiring region 10 and the ITO active region 30 are integrally formed, and Ag wiring electrodes 20 are formed at the edge thereof.

In such a touch panel, when a finger or other object is touched at a specific point of the ITO active area 30, the location of the touch point can be known by reading a resistance value according to the distance from the point to the Ag wiring electrodes 20. Will be.

However, such a conventional touch panel is likely to be disconnected in the Ag wiring electrode forming step of the manufacturing process. 2 is a view showing a disconnection state of the Ag wiring electrode of the conventional touch panel. As shown, since the glass substrate 40 which is a non-conductor exists under the Ag wiring electrode 20, an open area 25 may be generated due to clogging of a foreign material or a screen mask during printing of the Ag wiring electrode. Of defects are likely to occur.

In addition, disconnection failure due to cracking of the Ag wiring electrode 20 is also likely to occur even during the use of the finished touch panel.

The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, by forming an electrode pattern for disconnection compensation under the Ag wiring electrode, when the Ag wiring electrode is printed, disconnection or clogging due to cracking of the Ag wiring electrode is prevented. As shown, the touch panel according to the present invention is integrally formed with the ITO wiring region 100 and the ITO active region 300 at the right edge on the glass substrate 400, and Ag wiring at the left and upper and lower edges thereof. The ITO compensation electrode pattern 110 is also formed at the place where the electrodes are to be formed, and the Ag wiring electrode 200 is formed on the ITO wiring including the ITO wiring region 100 at the right edge and the ITO wiring region 110 at the left edge. Has a formed structure.

First, as shown in FIG. 4, the ITO wiring region 100 and the ITO active region 300 at the right edge are integrally formed on the glass substrate 400. At this time, the ITO compensation electrode pattern 110 is formed together with the positions where Ag wiring electrodes are formed at the left and upper and lower edges thereof.

Next, the Ag wiring electrodes 200 as shown in FIG. 5 are formed on the ITO wiring including the ITO wiring region 100 at the right edge and the ITO wiring region 110 at the left edge formed previously (see FIG. 4). When formed, the touch panel is completed.

In the touch panel manufactured as described above, although the disconnection region 250 is formed in the Ag wiring electrode 200 during the manufacturing process as shown in FIG. 6, since the ITO compensation electrode pattern 100 is formed thereunder, electrical disconnection occurs. I never do that.

As described above, the touch panel employing the compensation electrode pattern for preventing wire electrode disconnection according to the present invention is formed by forming an ITO compensation electrode pattern under the Ag wiring electrode in advance, thereby preventing clogging of foreign matter or screen mask during the Ag wiring electrode forming process. By this, even if disconnection occurs or disconnection due to cracking of the completed Ag wiring electrode, there is an advantage of preventing electrical disconnection.
