Abstract

PURPOSE: An internet touch pad, mounted over a notebook computer, is provided to enable a user to easily input an internet address just by touch operations in place of inputting the address over a keyboard while navigating the internet. CONSTITUTION: The touch pad comprises two slide switches(1,2), two scroll switches(3,4) and an on-off switch(5). The slide switch(1) enables a user to move to a back or forward page by being pushed to the left or the right. The slide switch(2) enables the user to move to a desired web site by being pushed to the upward and clicking on a touch pad or a lower left switch, and enables the user to execute a frequently used program by being pushed to the downward. The scroll switches(3,4) scrolls the cursor up and down or left and right, respectively. The on-off switch(5) prevents wrong characters or symbols from being input when the user conducts a word processing work.
