Abstract

PURPOSE: A command call system in a portable wireless information communication terminal is provided to execute various commands in any page. CONSTITUTION: An online command processing system is composed of a receiving part(10), a command call key(11), a command tag recognition part(12), a command call key scan part(13), a command processing part(14), a command output part(15), a command storage buffer(16), a transmitting part(17), and an LCD(18). The command call key(11) is provided to call a command. The command storage buffer(16) stores a list of commands so as to display a usable command on the LCD(18) when the command call key(11) is pushed. If a command transfer part(20) in a bidirectional information service server makes command information, composed of a command list and a command tag, and transmits it to the online command processing system, the receiving part(10) receives it and transfers it to the command tag recognition part(12). The command tag recognition part(12) transfers the command information to the command processing part(14) after confirming that the command information contains the command tag. The command processing part(14) stores the command information in the command storage buffer(16).

통상 다이얼용 숫자키패드로 문자를 입력해야 하는 휴대형 무선정보통신단말기를 이용한 양방향정보제공서비스에 있어서, 종래에는 특정 페이지에서 이용자가 할 수 있는 일은 통상 선택메뉴를 통하여만 할 수 있었다. 이는 다이얼용 키패드로는 비교적 복잡한 명령어를 입력하기가 쉽지 않고, 또 화면이 너무 좁기 때문에 통상 PC통신 화면 등에서처럼 현재 페이지에서 사용가능한 명령어를 화면 하단 등에 표시할 수 없어, 선택메뉴 방식을 택하지 않고는 원하는 작업을 수행하도록 하기가 매우 어렵기 때문이다In a two-way information providing service using a portable wireless information communication terminal that normally requires characters to be entered using a numeric keypad for dialing, in the past, what a user can do on a specific page can usually be done only through a selection menu.
