Claims (3)
- 헤드 마운트 디스플레이에 있어서,광원과;상기 광원의 광선을 분산시키는 조명프리즘과;상기 조명프리즘으로부터 출사되는 광선을 편광시키는 편광자와;상기 편광자로부터 출사되는 광선을 분리하는 편광 분할기와;상기 편광 분할기로부터 출사되는 광선에 의해 화상을 표시하는 반사형 액정 스크린과;상기 편광 분할기의 전방에 배치되어 상기 액정 스크린의 화상을 확대시키는 자유곡면프리즘을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 헤드 마운트 디스플레이용 광학 시스템.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 광원은 발광 다이오드이며, 이 발광 다이오드는 상기 액정 스크린의 외측에 이 액정 스크린과 나란하게 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 헤드 마운트 디스플레이용 광학 시스템.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 광학 시스템은 조명프리즘으로부터 출사되는 광선을 확산시키는 확산시트와, 상기 확산시트로부터 출사되는 광선을 소정 각도내로 집광시키는 프리즘 시트가 추가로 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 헤드 마운트 디스플레이용 광학 시스템.
