본 발명은 이동통신 무선중계기에 있어서, 무선중계기가 과출력 상태가 되면 역방향 경로(path)에 있어서, 무선중계기가 출력차단(shut-down)동작을 할 때 전력증폭기(Power Amplifier)의 전원차단에 의한 출력차단(shut-down)이 아닌 무선중계기의 역방향 경로(path)의 종단에 새로운 감쇠기(Attenuator)가 연동, 동작하는 내부 감쇠기에 의한 출력차단(shut-down)방법에 관한 것으로서, 종래의 출력차단(shut-down)방식은 각 경로(path)의 종단 증폭기(PA1, PA2)의 전원차단에 의한 출력차단(shut-down)방식 이나 무선중계기의 출력차단(shut-down)방식에 전력 증폭기(Power Amplifier)의 전원차단에 의한 출력차단(shut-down)이 아닌 무선중계기 내부의 역방향 경로(path)에서 종단의 듀플렉스와 연결된 전력증폭기(Power Amplifier)와 상기 전력증폭기(Power Amplifier)와 연결된 구동증폭기(Drive amplifier) 사이에 새로운 감쇠기(Attenuator)를 구성하여 상기 내부 감쇠기에 의한 출력차단(shut-down)을 하는 것이다.According to the present invention, when the wireless repeater is in an over-output state in a mobile communication wireless repeater, the power repeater is turned off when the wireless repeater performs a shut-down operation in a reverse path.
