Abstract

PURPOSE: A single point LPG(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) injection system is provided to improve fuel efficiency and engine output by directly injecting fuel to a surge tank without a mixer. CONSTITUTION: A single point LPG injection system comprises: a first gasifying chamber(3) receiving fuel from a bombe; a surge tank(5) receiving the LPG supplied from the first gasifying chamber via a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) duty solenoid(7); and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(11) operating the output value of a MAP(Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor(9) measuring the pressure of an intake manifold for the control of the duty solenoid with engine RPM(Revolutions Per Minute). The ECU controls the duty solenoid by 50msec(20Hz) by PWM method. Herein, precision degree of control is improved compared to a mechanical method. Therefore, fuel efficiency and engine output are improved.
