Abstract

PURPOSE: A campus AFC method using a fingerprint is provided to control of an access for entering to a building or a system and to levy a fare by using ten fingerprints of a human body when an AFC(automatic fare collection) system is operated in a campus. CONSTITUTION: A fare can be levied by installing a fingerprint sensing sensor in a fingerprint reader without installing a smart card. A fare is levied by comparing the registered fingerprint of a user with one's tagged fingerprint when the user uses an institution. Thus, a cost for producing a smart card having a high-priced RF chip is saved.

본 발명은 현재 많은 나라에서, 빌딩 및 Campus내에서 운영되고 있는 스마트카드를 이용한 자동요금 징수(AFC) 방법을 개선한 것이다.The present invention is an improvement of the automatic toll collection (AFC) method using smart cards currently operating in buildings and Campus in many countries.

즉 현행의 Campus AFC 방법은 스마트카드에 RF chip을 장착함으로써, 구내식당 이용시, 도서관 출입시, 차량주차시 등의 경우에 카드판독기가 Value가 충전되어 있는 스마트카드를 읽음으로써 해당 요금을 징수하였으나, 본 발명은 지문 판독기에 지문 인식 센서를 설치함으로써, 스마트카드를 사용하지 않고 해당 요금을 징수 할 수 가 있다.In other words, in the current Campus AFC method, the smart card is equipped with an RF chip, and when the cafeteria is used, the library is accessed, or the vehicle is parked, the card reader reads the smart card that has the value charged.
