Abstract

PURPOSE: A steam hot wind dryer for curing concrete and a drying method thereof are provided to obtain a quality concrete building even in winter by regularly supplying high temperature steam to the concrete building with a hot wind while curing concrete. CONSTITUTION: A steam hot wind dryer for curing concrete contains a combustion chamber(1a) inside a combustion pipe(1) and an oil burner(2) on the rear side of the combustion pipe with an injection nozzle(2a). A blower(3) and an electric lamp oil supply pump are placed on the rear side of the oil burner. A steam pipe(7) is installed in the combustion chamber to generate steam with combustive heat. An electronic water supply pump is located on the rear side of the steam pipe and a dual cover(9) is fixed between the combustion pipe and a housing(4) by a combustion pipe fixer(10) and a dual cover fixer(11). A direction adjuster(17) and an oil tank(5) are installed in the lower portion of the housing to adjust the direction of a hot wind and steam. With combustive heat, the water in the steam pipe is evaporated and steam is discharged through a steam exhaust hole(16). The combustive heat is forcibly discharged through a hot wind exhaust hole(13) by the blower.
