Abstract

PURPOSE: A water leakage prevention method is provided to prevent water leakage at the drain pipe penetrating section of the water tank which has an inner surface finished by a PE panel. CONSTITUTION: A water leakage prevention method comprises the first step of penetrating a metallic drain pipe(11) through the lower end of the inner wall of a water tank(1) which is finished by a PE panel; winding a water cut-off band(12), by approximately, 10cm around the inner wall of the water tank; covering the upper surface of the water cut-of band and the portion where the drain pipe meets the wall of a building, with an PE sheet(13); fixing a plurality of metal bands(14) onto the drain pipe covered with the PE sheet; and welding the portion where the metallic drain pipe covered with the PE sheet meets the wall of the building, through a hot gas welding process.
