Abstract

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing an ocher brick which has high strength, radiates far-infrared rays and is applied to facing materials as well as interior materials. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) mixing 10-20 wt.% of slag powder as a binder, 5 wt.% of fly ash, 1-5 wt.% of lime and 4-10 wt.% of plaster as strength accelerant with 70 wt.% of far-infrared rays radiating pulverized ocher and then stirring the mixture; (ii) putting the mixture of the step (i) in a mold and pressure-molding the mixture with a pressure of 1-5 ton; (iii) after vapor-curing the molded product of the step (ii) at a temperature of 90 deg.C for 6 hours, taking the molded product out of the mold and then drying the molded brick.
