Abstract

PURPOSE: A mortar composition for the floor is provided which shows no drying shrinkage caused by a change of surrounding temperature. CONSTITUTION: The mortar composition for the floor comprises: (i) 21-23 parts by weight of cement; (ii) 69-72 parts by weight of sand; (iii) 3-4 parts by weight of fly ash; (iv) 0.003-0.005 parts by weight of a viscosity increasing agent; (v) 0-5 parts by weight of an expanding control agent which is prepared by firing a mixture of 30-50% of limestone and 50-70% of coke at a temperature of about 800 deg.C and then mixing 1 parts by weight of a dispersant with the mixture; and (vi) 0-4 parts by weight of anhydrous plaster.
