2 is a side view of the heater according to the present invention.

The heater is a combustion chamber 4 in which fuel is burned by ignition of the burner, a heat exchanger 6 heated by heat generated in the combustion chamber 4, and air heated in the heat exchanger 6 and the combustion chamber 4. And a blower for blowing air into the room, and a humidifier 16 installed at the rear of the heat exchanger 6 to naturally evaporate by the heat generated by the heat exchanger 6 and the combustion chamber 4 to humidify.

Blowing mechanism is composed of a blowing fan 10 for blowing warm air into the room and a blowing motor 12 for rotating the blowing fan (10).

As shown in FIG. 3, the humidifier 16 includes a humidification vessel 18 attached to the rear heater case 26 of the heat exchanger 6, and a humidification vessel (so as to supply water to the humidification vessel 18). 18) and a fastening member 22 for attaching the water supply port 20 connected between the outside and the humidifier barrel 18 to the heater case 26.

The humidification vessel 18 is a cylindrical vessel in which water can be stored, the upper side of which is opened to allow water to evaporate, and attached to the rear heater case 26 of the heat exchanger 6 as a fastening member 22. And, it is made of a material having excellent thermal conductivity that is easy to be heated by the radiant heat generated in the heat exchanger (6).

The water supply port 20 is a pipe for supplying water to the humidifier barrel 18 from the outside of the heater, one side of which is connected to the bottom of the lower side of the humidifier 18 and the other penetrates the heater case 26 to the outside. At the end thereof is a closing cap 30 is attached. And, when the water is injected into the humidifier barrel 18 through the water supply port 20 from the outside, the end of the water supply port 20 is humidified so that the water injected into the humidifier barrel 18 does not flow to the open upper side. It is to be located at a lower position than the upper side of (18).

The fastening member 22 is a rectangular bracket that is bent at right angles connected to the rear surface of the humidification vessel 18. When the fastening member 22 is inserted into the fastening hole 24 formed in the radiator case 26, the humidification vessel 18 is connected to the heater case 26. Attached.

The operation of the heater thus achieved will be described below.

When the power switch is turned on, the burner is operated to generate heat while burning in the combustion chamber 4, and heat is generated while the heat exchanger 6 is heated by this heat. At this time, the water stored in the humidification tank 18 is evaporated by the radiant heat generated from the heat exchanger 6.

In this state, when the blower motor 12 is driven, the blower fan 10 rotates together with the air heated by the heat generated by the heat exchanger 6 and the combustion chamber 4 together with the water evaporated from the humidifier 18. Blowing into the furnace, heating and humidification are performed at the same time.

Therefore, the heater according to the present invention constructed and operated as described above prevents the room from drying out by supplying the water stored in the humidification container with the heated air by evaporation by radiant heat generated from the heat exchanger. Maintain proper humidity in the room to create a pleasant indoor environment.
