Abstract

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display(LCD) is to prevent a separative fastening member from being used to fix a module for the liquid crystal display on a case. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display comprises a module(10) for the liquid crystal display,and a case for covering upper and lower portions of the module except for a display area. The module includes a panel(12) for displaying data, a blacklight assembly, positioned at a rear side of the panel, for radiating light on the panel, a mold frame(14) for accommodating and supporting the module and the assembly, and a top chassis(15) for covering an upper portion of the panel and a side of the mold. The case includes an upper case for covering an upper portion of the module and a lower case(16) for covering a lower portion of the module. A receiving portion(20) is formed in the side of the top chassis, and a rectangular stopper(22) is formed on an inner side of the lower case.
