Description
본 발명은 엔진을 제어하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 냉각수나 오일의 용량 측정에 따른 엔진 제어 방법에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a method for controlling an engine, and more particularly to an engine control method according to the measurement of the capacity of cooling water or oil.
통상적으로, 차량의 정비가 불량하거나, 돌발적인 사고에 의해 차량에 손상이 있으면 냉각수나 엔진오일, 변속기(TM : "TRANSMISSION" 이하 "변속기"라 함) 오일 등이 유출될 수가 있다. 그런데 운전자가 이러한 점을 모르고 차량의 시동을 걸어 주행을 하게되면 엔진이 과열되어 사고의 원인이 될 수 있다. 그래서 기존에는 엔진오일이나 냉각수가 부족하면 차량의 표시부를 통해 이를 경보해주는 방법을 사용하여 왔다. 그러나 운전자가 표시부에 표시된 경보등을 감지하지 못할 경우에는 엔진에 무리가 가게되어 엔진의 내구성이 떨어지게 되는 문제점이 있다. 상기와 같은 문제가 심각할 경우에는 엔진이 과열되어 화재가 발생할 수도 있고 인명 사고를 초래할 수 있는 문제점이 있다.In general, when the vehicle is poorly maintained or damaged by an accident, the coolant, the engine oil, the transmission (TM) (hereinafter referred to as "transmission") oil, and the like may leak.
