Abstract

PURPOSE: A microwave oven having an apparatus for stabilizing initial temperature is provided to improve cooking performance by operating a microwave oven in regular ambient temperature of a humidity sensor. CONSTITUTION: A thermistor(52) firstly detects the temperature of a cooking chamber(30) if a command to start cooking is inputted to a microwave oven. The ambient temperature of a sensor(16) falls with a fan motor(56) to keep the temperature of the microwave oven regular about 25°C. Also, the temperature rises with a heater(54) if it is lower than 25°C. Therefore, the ambient temperature of the sensor is always kept regular about 25°C before the microwave oven is started.
