Abstract

PURPOSE: An automatic dialing method is to facilely search a telephone number and a firm name according to types of industry, automatically dial to the telephone number, and to rapidly and comfortably communicate with others. CONSTITUTION: An automatic dialing method comprises steps of: storing types of industry, firm names and telephone numbers corresponding to the firm names in a memory mounted in a telephone; displaying each type of industry stored in the memory when detecting a hook-off operation or a signal of a displaying button(31,32); displaying the firm names and telephone numbers corresponding to a selected type of industry when a type of industry is selected(33,34); and automatically dialing through a microcomputer and a tone receiver to a selected telephone number when a firm name or a telephone number is selected out of the displayed firm names and telephone numbers(35,36). On a displaying part, a time and a date are displayed at an initial state.
