Claims (6)
- 광픽업으로부터 정보기록면들까지의 거리들이 서로 다르며, 정보의 기록 및 재생을 위하여 서로 다른 파장의 광을 사용하는 적어도 두가지의 디스크들을 위한 광픽업에 있어서,파장이 서로 다른 제 1광 및 제 1광보다 긴 파장의 제 2광을 출사하는 제 1광원 및 제 2광원;상기 서로 다른 광원으로부터 출사된 광을 두 가지 이상의 서로 다른 디스크에 각각 집광할 수 있는 하나의 대물렌즈;상기 디스크로부터 반사된 광신호를 검출하는 광검출기;상기 반사된 광신호들을 상기 광검출기로 분리하기 위한 제 1광분할기 및 제 2광분할기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광분할기를 사용한 광픽업장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제 1광분할기는 상기 광원들으로부터 출사되는 복수개의 파장의 광중 제 1광에 대하여 편광빔 분리가 가능한 편광빔분할기인 것을 특징으로 하는 편광분할기를 사용한 광픽업장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제 1광분할기는 상기 단파장의 제 1광에 대하여 반사 또는 투과하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광분할기를 사용한 광픽업장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 제 1광분할기는 상기 제 1광원의 S편광은 전반사하고, P편광은 전투과하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광분할기를 사용한 광픽업장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 제 1광분할기는 상기 제 2광에 대하여 전투과하는 것을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광분할기를 사용한 광픽업장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제 2광분할기는 상기 제 1광에 대하여 전투과하고, 상기 제 2광에 대하여 전반사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광분할기를 사용한 광픽업장치.
