Description

Improved structure of cyclone for paper machine

The present invention relates to an improved structure of a cyclone for a papermaking machine. Specifically, the end portion of the cyclone fixedly installed while maintaining a constant interval on one side of a transport pipe for transporting pulp, which is a raw material of paper, that is, sand and foreign substance discharged The part is made of ceramic, which is made of the same material as the cyclone fuselage, so that it can be fixedly installed to prolong the life of the cyclone, thereby inducing productivity improvement, cost reduction, and maximization of reliability.

As is well known, the cyclone, which is installed on one side of the conveying pipe of the papermaking machine, is made of a ceramic body because of various foreign matters contained in the pulp, especially sand, etc. This is to maintain the life of the cyclone because it is selected and discharged through the cyclone.

However, although the cyclone is made of ceramics with good wear resistance, the discharge tube installed at the end of the fuselage is formed to be integrated with a cap made of ordinary steel, and is easily worn by the sand discharged by the discharge and itself. Since it had to be replaced shortly after installation (usually 2 ~ 3 months), the lifespan was very short, so the cost of replacement was too high, the manpower was high, and the operation of the paper machine in the process of exchanging the entire cyclone body. By having to stop, the productivity was greatly reduced, so the countermeasures were very urgent.

Therefore, the present invention was devised to solve the above-mentioned problems with the conventional cyclone, and in particular, the discharge tube installed at the end of a conventional cyclone fuselage formed of ceramic is formed of ceramic, which is the same material as the fuselage, and thus the life of the cyclone. The goal is to significantly reduce replacement costs and manpower, while maximizing productivity.

A plurality of cyclones are installed at one side of the conveying pipe 1 of the paper making machine so that sand and various foreign matters can be discharged from the pulp to be transported. At the end of the conventional cyclone fuselage (2), a metal tube (5) having a hole (4) slightly larger than the hole (3) formed in the cyclone fuselage (2) is fitted and fixed to the cyclone fuselage (2). The hole 3 formed in the metal tube 5 and the formed hole 3 coincide with each other, and in this state, a separate discharge tube 6 made of ceramic passes through the hole 4 to coincide with the hole 3. The cyclone 8 is formed by inserting and fixing it with the ceramic adhesive 7.

3 and 4 show an embodiment of the present invention, which forms a U-shaped groove 9 on one side of the metal tube 3, so that the discharge tube 6 is formed in the hole 3 of the cyclone body 2. ) Is configured such that the metal tube 3 can be fitted in the state in which the adhesive is fixed as the adhesive 7.

Reference numeral 10 is a transparent cap, and 11 is a discharge hose.

The operation of the present proposal thus constructed is as follows.

As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the present invention has a step in which an outer circumferential surface is formed stepwise in a hole 3 formed at an end of a cyclone body 2 made of ceramic. The upper end of the type discharge tube 6 is bonded and fixed as the ceramic adhesive 7, and in this process, the metal tube 5 is inserted into the end of the cyclone body 2, and the hole 4 and the cyclone body formed in the metal tube 5 are fixed. In the state in which the holes 3 formed in (2) are aligned, the discharge tube 6 is sandwiched and fixed as the ceramic adhesive 7 so that the adhesive can be smoothly fixed.

The cyclone 8 of the present invention configured as described above is formed by separating the discharge tube 6 into a ceramic and fixed as a ceramic adhesive, so that it is separated from the pulp conveyed during installation and use in the transfer pipe 1 of the papermaking machine. In the process of discharging sand or various foreign matters into the discharge tube 6, the wear rate is significantly reduced compared to the discharge tube 6 formed integrally with the conventional metal tube, and thus 5 to 6 times more than the conventional cyclone. Life expectancy effect can be expected.

3 and 4 show an embodiment of the present invention, in which a hollow groove is formed on one side of the metal tube 3 so that the cyclone body 2 and the discharge tube 6 are fixed as an adhesive 7. Since the metal tube 3 is configured to be fixed, the discharge tube 6 is formed of ceramic, and thus the life extension effect can be expected to be 5 to 6 times higher than that of the conventional cyclone.

That is, in the conventional cyclone formed by integrating the metal tube 3 and the discharge tube with the same material, since the discharge tube itself is a metal, various cyclones, including sand, contained in the pulp are separated and discharged at the upper end of the discharge tube. It was forced to wear due to intensive action and accordingly, a hole was formed in the upper part of the discharge tube so that it could not be replaced. In the present design, the discharge tube 6 itself is made of ceramic and the upper portion is made thicker. As far as possible Since it is formed into a mold, it can be used stably without replacement for a very long time. Therefore, it can contribute greatly to cost reduction effect and productivity improvement due to long life extension effect.

As described above, the present invention can maintain the life of the cyclone by forming the discharge pipe 6 made of ceramic, and it is not necessary to replace the cyclone frequently, greatly contributing to productivity and cost. It is a very useful design that can maximize the savings.
