Description
This disclosure relates to a printing device, and specifically to a printing device that improves the quality of a printed design by allowing the height between the print head of the ink cartridge and the printing medium to be adjusted according to the material of the printing medium.
The generally known function of a printer is a device that prints desired designs on paper, fabric, etc.
In the past, relatively large printers were placed in office spaces, homes, etc. and used for office purposes, but recently, products for specific purposes that emphasize portability have been required, and miniaturized printers, such as printers for photo printing purposes, have been released. there is.
Recently, hand held printers have become popular. Handheld printers are small and easy to carry, and can print designs not only on relatively flat surfaces such as paper and fabric, but also on surfaces with changes in the surface, such as human skin.
However, in order for a hand-held printer to properly print a design on print media such as paper, fabric, and human skin, a certain distance must be maintained between the print head of the ink cartridge mounted on the hand-held printer and the print medium.
If the gap is too close or there is contact between the print head of the ink cartridge and the printing medium, printing may not work properly and the design may be distorted.
For example, this is not a problem for relatively flat printing media such as paper and fabric, but in the case of soft printing media such as human skin, if the handheld printer is placed in contact with the human skin and moved to print a design, the human skin may be damaged during the movement. Deformation occurs in the skin.
In this case, the gap between the print head of the ink cartridge and the person's skin may be too close or touch, and as a result, the desired design may not be printed.
In addition, there is a printing device that can perform tattoos on the skin along with handheld printing, but the conventional printing device has a relatively complicated structure to separate the gap between the print head of the ink cartridge and the skin.
Accordingly, there is a need for a printing device that changes the gap between the print head of the ink cartridge and the printing medium with a simple structure.

When capping the print head (PH) of the ink cartridge (K) with the
Therefore, it is necessary to maintain the
At this time, the

In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the switch means 800 can improve user convenience by allowing the user to easily identify the current use mode with the naked eye. This allows the user to easily determine whether the mode of use is appropriate depending on the material of the printing medium. In other words, the user can clearly visually identify whether the design is printed on a relatively flat print medium such as paper or fabric, or on a place where the surface of the print medium is deformed, such as human skin. By selecting the appropriate mode depending on the material of the medium, you can expect the effect of ensuring that your design is printed properly.

When the user places his or her finger on the
Hereinafter, the operation method of the removal means 700 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described with reference to FIGS. 13 and 14.
First, referring to FIG. 13, when the ink cartridge K is mounted inside the receiving
Next, referring to FIG. 14, if the ink cartridge (K) is used up and needs to be replaced, the user hooks his/her finger on the
Accordingly, the ink cartridge (K) seated on the upper part of the
And since the lower sliding
Thereafter, when the user holds the ink cartridge (K) with the remaining hand and raises it upward, the ink cartridge (K) is separated from the
When the user releases the
In addition, it is possible to prevent injuries to the user's fingers or nails during the process of removing the ink cartridge (K), and to prevent damage caused by dropping the product.
Hereinafter, with reference to FIGS. 28A to 30B, an operation method of the
If the user needs to adjust the height between the printing medium and the print head (PH) in response to the material of the printing medium, the user can operate the
For example, if the printing medium is a relatively flat material such as paper or fabric whose surface does not change, the user determines that it is necessary to keep the height between the printing medium and the print head (PH) low in order to print the design clearly. can do. This may correspond to the A usage mode described above.
In this case, as shown in FIGS. 28A and 29A, the user can remove the
In the above usage mode, the height between the surface of the printing medium and the print head (PH) is low, so the design can be clearly printed on the surface of printing media such as paper and fabric.
If the initial state is that the
Accordingly, the
The
Also, for example, if the printing medium is a soft material whose surface changes, such as human skin, the user may determine that it is necessary to maintain a large height between the printing medium and the print head (PH) in order to print the design clearly. You can. This is to prevent the print head (PH) from directly touching the surface of the printing medium and printing the design incorrectly, and to keep the distance between the print head (PH) and the surface of the printing medium considering that the surface of the printing medium is pressed and changes. .
In this case, the user removes the
Afterwards, the user can press the
In the above use mode, the height between the surface of the printing medium and the print head (PH) is high, so even if the surface of the printing medium, such as human skin, is slightly changed by being pressed, as shown in Figure 30b, the surface of the printing medium and the print head (PH) are high. ) is ensured so that the design does not come into contact, so the design can be printed clearly.
Meanwhile, referring to FIGS. 29A and 30A, the height difference between the lower surface of the
Now, referring to FIGS. 29b and 30b, after the
At this time, the
Additionally, in FIGS. 29A to 30B, the printing media are indicated as G1 and G2, which may be classified according to the material of the printing media.
For example, the printing medium G1 may be a relatively flat or hard material, and may include, for example, a wall, a wooden board, etc. in addition to the paper and fabric described above. Additionally, the printing medium G2 may be a soft material, and for example, in addition to the above-described human skin, it may include various materials whose surfaces may be deformed during the printing process, such as rubber and leather.
In addition, in FIGS. 29A to 30B, the distance between the print head (PH) and the printing medium is indicated as W1 and W2, which can be defined as the distance at which the print head (PH) can print on the printing medium. Hereinafter, W1 and W2 will be described by designating them as printing distance or jetting distance.
Referring to FIG. 29a, when the print medium (G1) is relatively flat or made of a hard material, maintaining the jetting distance (W1) is sufficient for the print head (PH) to print smoothly on the print medium (G1). do. At this time, the
Referring to FIG. 29b, if the printing medium G2 is made of a soft material and deformation occurs during the printing process, the jetting distance W2 needs to be adjusted in consideration of the surface deformation of the printing medium G2.
As described above, the user pushes the
Accordingly, the jetting distance between the print head (PH) and the printing medium (G2) is adjusted from W1 to W2. Afterwards, when the user holds the
Referring to FIGS. 30A and 30B, the operation of the printer device according to surface changes for each printing medium is shown.
Referring to FIG. 30A, when the printing medium (G1) is relatively flat or made of a hard material, the user holds the
At this time, the
Referring to FIG. 30b, when the printing medium G2 is made of a soft material and the
In Figure 30b, the user operated the
P2 shown in FIG. 30B represents the printing area and represents the area where the print head (PH) prints the design by injecting ink into the printing medium (G2) spaced at a predetermined interval.
By adjusting the jetting distance W2, the printing area P1 shown in FIG. 30A and the printing area P2 shown in FIG. 30B can be formed with a relatively equal distance between the print head PH and the printing medium. Therefore, even if the material of the printing medium changes, a design with relatively the same clear quality can be printed on the surface of the printing medium.
According to at least one of the above-described embodiments of the present invention, the height between the print head of the ink cartridge and the printing medium can be adjusted depending on the material of the printing medium, which has the advantage of improving the quality of the printed design. Additionally, it has the advantage of improving user convenience by allowing the user to easily remove the ink cartridge and allowing the user to easily identify the current use mode with the naked eye.
In the present disclosure, the printing device is not limited to the configuration and method of some of the embodiments described above, but may be configured by selectively combining all or part of each embodiment so that various modifications can be made.
