S.aureus를 TSB (Tryptic Soy Broth) 배지에서 37 ℃, 24시간 배양하고 0.5 McFarland 표준 탁도 농도(1×108 CFU/mL)가 되도록 현탁시켜서 stock culture로 사용한다. 1×107 CFU/mL 농도가 되도록 10배 희석하고, 0.1 mL 씩 분주하여 일회용 스프레더 (Spreader)로 균일하게 도말하여 건조한 후 37 ℃에서 24시간 배양하였다. 각 배양배지에서 배양한 김치유산균 발효물을 10배 농축하고 10 μL씩 처리한 후, 클리어존 (Clear zone, mm)의 직경을 측정하여 그 결과를 도 2에 나타내고, 항균활성을 비교하여 가장 항균활성이 우수한 균주를 선발하였다.Among the 49 selected strains, the final strains were selected through antibacterial activity screening.
