Description
The present invention relates to a support mechanism for radiography in the intercondylar fossa posterior anterior axial direction, and more specifically, to enable accurate setting of the variable angle member to the desired angle while checking the angle with an electronic goniometer, and by adding an imaging plate and a support plate. A support for intercondylar fossa retroanterior axial radiography that enables not only intercondylar fossa retroanterior axial imaging but also tangential imaging of the patella, and is equipped with a patient preparation alarm to notify the examiner that the subject preparing for radiography is not in the correct position for examination. It's about the mechanism.
In clinical practice, as a method to observe the presence or absence of lesions for various knee-related diseases, including knee joint pain, general radiological examination using radiation, MRI examination, bone scanning examination, synovial fluid examination, and arthroscopic diagnosis are performed. Among these, Considering cost aspects and test efficiency, general radiology tests are mainly used because they are inexpensive and place less burden on the subject's body.
For general radiology examinations for knee-related diseases, a standard imaging position is determined depending on the examination area.
Figure 1 is a diagram showing the standard posture for intercondylar fossa retroanterior axial radiography.
The description will be made with reference to FIG. 1 .
Intercondylar fossa posteroanterior axial radiography is an imaging method for imaging the area behind the femur (femur) and the intercondylar fossa (intercondylar fossa).
For the imaging position, the patient lies prone, with the knee joint on the examination side placed in the center of the film, and the long axis of the film and thigh are parallel.
Bend your knees and place the fixture on the top of your foot so that your leg is at a 40 or 50 degree angle. The point where radiation is injected into the subject is set at 40 or 50 degrees from the vertical plane toward the leg.
Likewise, when performing intercondylar fossa retroanterior axial radiography, the lower leg must maintain an accurate angle with the ground to obtain the desired radiograph.

Meanwhile, during radiography, the examiner guides the subject to assume an appropriate posture, then leaves the radiography room and operates the radiography device.
However, it often happens that the examinee's posture becomes awkward before the examiner leaves the imaging room and the imaging is performed. This causes a problem in that it becomes difficult to read radiographs.

Therefore, not only can the angle of the lower leg be accurately adjusted when performing intercondylar fossa retro-anterior radiography, but it can also be used for other imaging purposes, and it is a new support device for intercondylar fossa retro-anterior radiography that can notify the examiner if the subject's imaging posture is wrong. development is urgently needed.
