Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a document shredder, and more particularly, to a document shredder for cutting and shredding documents into pieces.
In general, a document shredder cuts security documents or confidential documents, corporate documents with personal information, receipts from financial institutions, etc. into pieces, and is used in various places such as government agencies, government offices, corporations, and financial institutions.
Such a document shredder allows people to shred documents by simply inserting paper into an input slot, and makes the contents of the shredded documents unrecognizable.
To this end, the document shredder includes a motor and a document shredder cutter, and shreds the input documents while rotating the document shredder cutter by the rotational force of the motor.
In this way, the document shredder shreds the document into small pieces to implement security of blocking information leakage regardless of the type and size of the consumer.
For example, Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 below describe document shredder configurations according to the prior art.
In a document shredder according to the prior art, documents introduced through an inlet are supplied to a plurality of pairs of cutters, and the plurality of pairs of cutters are rotated by a rotational force of a motor to shred the introduced documents into small pieces.
In such a document shredder, washers or curlers are installed between a bearing supporting a rotational shaft and spacers installed at both ends of the rotational shaft to prevent impact generated by the cutter during document shredding from being transferred to the bearing.
However, the document shredder according to the prior art has a problem in that the bearings are damaged as the shock generated from the cover during document shredding is transferred to the bearings installed at both ends of the rotating shaft through the spacer and the rotating shaft. Damage to the bearings may cause significant time, human, and economic losses in the maintenance work of the document shredder.
In addition, in the document shredder according to the prior art, documents are sequentially shredded by a plurality of pairs of cutters in the process of being shredded, and the documents are tilted to one side while moving.
For this reason, the document shredder according to the prior art has a problem in that the cutting debris is caught at both ends of the shredding unit and remains at both ends of the shredding unit without falling into the lower collection container.
In particular, the document shredder according to the prior art has problems in that the cutting debris remaining on both ends of the shredding unit accumulates and deteriorates the shredding performance, and in severe cases, the cutter is distorted, damaged or damaged, and the load of the driving motor is increased to cause failure. .
An object of the present invention is to solve the above problems, and to provide a document shredder capable of preventing damage to bearings installed at both ends of a rotating shaft by buffering impact generated by a cutter when shredding documents.
Another object of the present invention is to prevent documents put into a document shredder from leaning to one side while being shredded by a plurality of pairs of cutters, and the shredded cutting debris does not remain on both sides of the shredding unit and can be collected by falling into a lower collection container. It is to provide a document shredder.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a document shredder capable of preventing reduction in shredding efficiency due to document debris remaining between cutters and minimizing noise and vibration generated during shredding.
In order to achieve the above object, the document shredder according to the present invention forms an external shape and is installed inside a main body provided with an inlet through which documents are inserted, and is connected to the inlet to cut documents in a preset horizontal and vertical direction. It includes a shredded section for cutting into length and a collection container provided under the shredded section and temporarily collecting the shredded objects, wherein the shredded section comprises a first rotation shaft and a second rotation shaft disposed parallel to each other, the first rotation shaft and a second rotation shaft. 2 A plurality of pairs of cutters and spacers continuously assembled to cross each other on the rotating shaft, bearings installed inside a pair of installation blocks to which both ends of the first and second rotating shafts are coupled, and rotatably supporting each rotating shaft, and each It is disposed between the cutter or spacer installed at the outermost part of the rotating shaft and each installation block, and includes a protective member for protecting the bearing from impact transmitted through each rotating shaft.
As described above, according to the document shredder according to the present invention, a protective member is installed between the cutter or spacer installed at the outermost part of each rotary shaft and the bearing to cushion the shock transmitted through the rotary shaft during the document shredding process, thereby damaging the bearing. However, the effect of preventing damage is obtained.
And according to the present invention, even if the distance between the outermost cutter or spacer and the bearing is changed due to deformation of the cutter due to long-time use, the effect that the bearing can be safely protected using the protective member is obtained.
In addition, according to the present invention, as the protective members are installed to come into contact with the inner surfaces of the installation blocks disposed on both sides, it is possible to prevent the shredded documents from leaning to one side during the document shredding process. Accordingly, the present invention has an effect of effectively preventing breakage or damage of the driving motor by preventing an increase in the driving load of the driving motor, which occurs as shredded document debris accumulates at both ends of the shredding unit.
In addition, according to the present invention, the effect that oil can be supplied to the rotating shaft, the spacer, and the cutter by applying a protective member made of an oil-containing resin material or a composition formed by molding the material of the oil-containing resin material to both ends of each rotating shaft. is obtained
For this reason, according to the present invention, when shredding documents, the adhesive strength of the shredded document debris on the contact surface between the rotary shaft, the cutter and the spacer can be weakened to allow them to fall smoothly into the collection container provided at the lower part of the shredding unit, and the document debris can be dropped between the cutters. By preventing the residual, it is possible to prevent degradation of shredding performance due to residual document debris and to minimize noise and vibration generated during the shredding operation.
In addition, according to the present invention, the shape and number of protection members are variously changed to protect bearings, simultaneously guide the input direction of documents, and effectively prevent slanting during document shredding.

For example, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the
Thus, the

In particular, in this embodiment, the
The oil-containing resin material may release oil constituting the material to the outside by pressure or heat applied to the material.
For example, the oil-containing resin material is obtained by mixing Low Density Polyethylene and Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene at a constant weight ratio, and oil, a crosslinking agent, and an antioxidant are mixed at a constant ratio. It can be made using the composition.
In this way, the present invention can prevent damage or breakage of the bearing by installing a protective member between the cutter or spacer installed at the outermost part of each rotary shaft and the bearing to absorb the impact transmitted through the rotary shaft in the document shredding process.
Next, an operating method of the document shredder according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail.
First, a plurality of documents fed into the
At this time, as the plurality of pairs of
In this way, the documents fed between each cutting
At this time, the shredded document scraps may be discharged from each
On the other hand, the
In addition, the
In addition, the
That is, the centrifugal force generated during the rotational operation of the

In this way, the oil supplied between the respective
Through the process as described above, the present invention installs a protective member between the cutter or spacer installed at the outermost part of each rotating shaft and the bearing to absorb the impact transmitted through the rotating shaft during the document shredding process to prevent damage or damage to the bearing. It can be prevented.
In addition, even if the distance between the outermost cutter or spacer and the bearing is changed due to deformation of the cutter due to long-term use, the bearing can be safely protected by using the protective member.
In addition, according to the present invention, as the protective members are installed to come into contact with the inner surfaces of the installation blocks disposed on both sides, it is possible to prevent the shredded documents from leaning to one side during the document shredding process. Accordingly, the present invention can effectively prevent breakage or damage to the drive motor by preventing an increase in the drive load of the drive motor, which occurs as the shredded document debris accumulates at both ends of the shredder.
In addition, in the present invention, oil can be supplied to the rotating shaft, the spacer, and the cutter by applying a protective member made of an oil-containing resin material or a composition formed by molding the material of the oil-containing resin material to both ends of each rotating shaft.
Due to this, the present invention weakens the adhesive force of the shredded document debris sticking to the contact surface between the rotating shaft, the cutter and the spacer during document shredding, so that the document debris can fall smoothly into the collection container provided at the bottom of the shredding unit, and the document debris remains between the cutters. By preventing this from happening, it is possible to prevent deterioration in shredding performance due to remaining document debris, and to minimize noise and vibration generated during shredding work.
On the other hand, in the present embodiment, it has been described that a total of two pairs of approximately disc-shaped protection members are installed at both ends of each

As such, the present invention can change the shape and number of the protective member in various ways to protect the bearing, guide the input direction of the document, and prevent the document from being tilted during the document shredding process.
Meanwhile, in FIGS. 6 and 7 , the cross section of the guide portion is illustrated in a substantially triangular shape so as to be inclined toward the center of the shredded portion, but the present invention is not necessarily limited thereto, and the guide portion may be convex in a semicircular or oval shape, It may be changed to form a plate or bar shape disposed obliquely toward the center of the cut end.
