본 발명은 건축물의 단열을 위하여 사용되는 스티로폼이 화재에 취약한 단점을 보안하고자 개발된 방법에 대한 기술이다.
스티로폼의 중간에 불에 잘 타는 얇은 비닐로 소포장된 소화분말 약제를 내장 매립시켜놓아 화재 시 초기진화가 되거나 화재의 확산을 지연시키기는 방법이다.

외벽체에서의 화재발생 시 초기진화를 위하여 외벽체의 단열재로 사용된 스티로폼(1) 속에 미리 소화분말을 내장 매립시켜 놓기 위한 목적으로, 열에 잘 녹는 얇은 비닐재질로 소화분말을 밀폐 소포장시킨 소화분말캡슐(2)과;
소화분말캡슐(2)이 매립된 지점의 스티로폼(1)이 화염의 열기에 의하여 형체가 먼저 녹아 없어져도, 소화분말캡슐(2)이 밑으로 떨어지지 않고 설치된 위치에서 소화분말이 지속적으로 살포되는 작동이 유지되도록 소화분말캡슐(2)을 담아, 스티로폼(1)이 아닌 인접한 철판이나 건물벽체에 고정시키는└자 형태의 철제접시(3)를 포함한 소화용품.
