몸통에 착용되고 상측에는 목 부위가 삽입되는 목 둘레부가 형성되며 좌우 양측에는 팔이 삽입되는 소매부가 형성되되 후면에 상하방향으로 절개부가 형성된 가운 본체;
띠 형상으로 형성되어 그 일단부는 상기 가운 본체의 절개부 양측에 각각 연결된 상태에서 엑스자 형상으로 서로 교차되고 그 타단부는 상기 가운 본체의 전면에 위치되되 타단부에는 제 1 고정부재가 구비된 한 쌍의 고정밴드; 및
상기 가운 본체의 전면에 구비되어 상기 제 1 고정부재와 고정밴드의 길이조절 가능하게 탈부착되는 제 2 고정부재;가 포함되고,
상기 고정밴드는, 상기 가운 본체의 착용 전에는 착용자 스스로 착용할 수 있도록 그 길이가 가장 긴 상태로 상기 제 2 고정부재 측에 고정되고, 상기 가운 본체의 착용 후에는 착용자 몸에 맞도록 당겨진 상태로 상기 제 2 고정부재 측에 재차 고정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 의료용 가운.
