Description
The present invention relates to a supply device, and more particularly, to a carrier tape supply device.
A component mounting system is a system that mounts electronic components on a printed circuit board (PCB), and receives various components such as integrated circuits, diodes, capacitors, resistors, etc. from a carrier tape supply, and prints a printed circuit board. After moving to the mounting position of, it is performed to mount on the printed circuit board.
In general, a component mounting system includes a tape supply device for supplying a carrier tape with parts, a conveyor for transporting a printed circuit board, and a head assembly having nozzles for adsorbing parts from the tape supply device and mounting them on a printed circuit board. , A driving device for moving the head assembly in the vertical or horizontal direction.
In general, the carrier tape supply device exposes the electronic component so that the head assembly can adsorb the electronic component by continuously supplying the carrier tape with the electronic component and separating the cover tape attached to the surface of the carrier tape. The carrier tape from which the cover tape has been peeled is discharged to the front of the carrier tape supply, and the cover tape separated from the carrier tape is discharged to the rear of the carrier tape supply.
Such a general component mounting system is specifically disclosed in US Patent Publication No. US2003 / 0230617 (December 18, 2003).
Meanwhile, the carrier tape supply device as described above may include a carrier tape loading unit to install a plurality of carrier tapes. In the case of the carrier tape loading unit, by supplying a plurality of carrier tapes, continuity and speed of operation can be secured without replacing the carrier tape. In particular, in the case of the carrier tape loading portion, each carrier tape can be sequentially supplied by pressing a plurality of carrier tapes.
However, in the case of the carrier tape loading unit, when the carrier tape is supplied, the carrier tape may be stopped because other carrier tapes are transferred together or an abnormal behavior occurs when the carrier tape is first supplied. In addition, in the case of the carrier tape loading part, a jam phenomenon may occur due to the behavior of the carrier tape during transport.
A general carrier tape supplying device having such a carrier tape loading unit is specifically disclosed in Korean Patent Registration No. 10-1020561 (invention name: carrier tape supplying device, applicant: STS Co., Ltd.).
Further, in the case of the general carrier tape supply device described above, a plurality of carrier tapes can be simply installed to supply continuously. However, in the above case, since the carrier tape supply device cannot accurately align the continuously supplied carrier tapes, the carrier tape may be wasted or an operation error of the component mounting device may occur.
SUMMARY Embodiments of the present invention are to provide a carrier tape supply device capable of automatically supplying a plurality of carrier tapes to a component mounting device.
