Description
The present invention relates to a backlight unit for an outside mirror of a vehicle, and more particularly to a backlight unit having a connector structure connected to the light source of the backlight unit.
In general, an outside mirror of a vehicle is a reflector that can see the situation around the left and right rear of the vehicle and is a basic component of the vehicle. However, the outside mirror of the car has a blind spot at an angle due to the limitation of the driver's visual observation and the structural characteristics of the car, and the blind spot of the car is about 13 ° to 45 ° from the side of the vehicle body. Can be defined. When driving a vehicle, an auxiliary device such as an auxiliary side mirror is used to make it easier for a driver to check the location of the next lane vehicle in a blind area on the left and right sides of the vehicle, which are difficult for the driver to check through the outside mirror. You can't fully show this location.
Therefore, in order to accurately detect whether the vehicle is located in the blind spot of the car and to inform the driver, the detection sensor using radar, ultrasound, camera, etc. detects that another vehicle is located in the blind spot of the rear left and right of the vehicle and the information on this. BSM system (Blind Spot Monitoring System), which provides warning to the driver, has been applied.
For example, as such a BSM system, a method of etching an indicator icon on an outside mirror and attaching a backlight unit to the rear surface of a glass is used. When the BSM system detects that another vehicle enters the blind spot and sends a signal, the backlight unit emits light and examines the indicator icon, thereby blinking the indicator icon on the outside mirror surface to inform the driver.
In a conventional backlight unit for illuminating an indicator icon in a BSM system, Korean Patent Application No. 2016-0072565 discloses a
In addition, the Republic of Korea Patent Application No. 2017-0036767, as shown in Figure 3, the inner space for accommodating the
According to the conventional backlight unit configured as described above, a wire (not shown) is connected to the PCB of the

Specifically, the
The
