Abstract

The present invention relates to a device to connect an information communication cable, capable of connecting two optical cables and easily checking inflow of an optical signal without disconnecting connection. According to the present invention, the device to connect an information communication cable comprises a joint case having a cable hole into which both ends of first and second optical cables are inserted; a first contact head connected to a terminal of the first optical cable; a second contact head installed inside the joint case while facing the first contact head; a first elastic spring to support the first contact head in a direction where the second contact head is placed; a second elastic spring to support the second contact head in a direction where the first contact head is placed; and an optical signal checking unit disposed on the upper part where the first contact head comes in contact with the second contact head to be forcibly inserted between the first and second contact heads when receiving pressure, so as to receive and check an optical signal transmitted from the first or second optical cable.
