Abstract
Disclosed is an apparatus to simultaneously process a particulate matter (PM) and SOx included in exhaust gas. According to the present invention, the apparatus to simultaneously process a PM and SOx included in exhaust gas comprises: a cyclone chamber including a cylindrical unit to receive exhaust gas and a conical unit coupled to a lower part of the cylindrical unit and having the diameter gradually reduced towards a lower part from an upper part; and a scrubbing chamber penetrating a top part of the cyclone chamber to be extended into the cyclone chamber. The cyclone chamber includes a first cleaning liquid spray unit spraying a cleaning liquid to an inner wall of the cyclone chamber or an outer wall of the scrubbing chamber. The scrubbing chamber includes a second cleaning liquid spray unit spraying a cleaning liquid to the inside of the scrubbing chamber; and a first packing layer installed on a lower part of the second cleaning liquid spray unit and including a plurality of packing balls. Accordingly, the exhaust gas flowing in the cyclone chamber is rotated and lowered through a separation space formed between the inner wall of the cyclone chamber and the outer wall of the scrubbing chamber, and is discharged through the scrubbing chamber, thereby simultaneously removing the PM and the SOx through one process. According to the present invention, it is possible to efficiently operate an exhaust gas processing system.
