The waterproof and dustproof switch (SW) of the present invention includes a switch mechanism part (1) for switching contacts by the action of external force and a switch case (2) for protecting the switch mechanism part (1) A case body 7 made of a hard material for housing the switch mechanism portion 1 and a cover 9 made of a soft material covering the case body 7.
