쉘부를 소켓몰드를 감싸는 통쉘(141)과 상기 통쉘(141)의 외면에 결합되어 보드에 실장되는 실장쉘(142)로 구성하며;
상기 실장쉘(142)에 레이져 가열에 의하여 70~80%용융되어 전도에 의하여 통쉘외면을 용융시켜 접합되게 하는 레이져가열전도용접부(20)를 형성하며;
상기 플러그지지대(10)는 플러그커넥터를 견고하게 지지할 수 있게 통쉘(141)의 후단에 결속되고;
실장쉘(142)의 외측으로 절곡되어 지지강성을 높이며 차수턱을 형성하는 차수리브(142a)를 형성하며;
소켓몰드의 후방에 실리콘으로 방수충전한 실리콘방수부(30)를 구비한 것을 특징으로 전자기기용 소켓 커넥터.
