Description

GPS module for tractor < RTI ID = 0.0 >

The present invention relates to a GPS module for a tractor, and more particularly, to a GPS module which can be mounted on a traveling vehicle such as a tractor by being modularized so that a traveling direction can be calculated using a dual GPS, will be.

As is widely known, GPS is a device that measures the current position, which is already widely used in general vehicles. Such a GPS is widely used as a gyro sensor capable of detecting the direction of a traveling vehicle. In recent years, it has also been commercialized to calculate a traveling direction using dual GPS instead of such a gyro sensor.

For example, Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 10-2006-65912 discloses a dual-GPS reception apparatus, and Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 10-2013-84762 discloses a technique for transmitting a theft signal of a tractor using GPS . According to Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 10-2011-120059, GPS is widely used not only in a general vehicle but also in an agricultural driving apparatus such as a tractor. Especially, autonomous driving tractor, which has been developed in recent years, has been applied to a sensor capable of detecting a position such as a GPS and a means for detecting a direction.

Although the tractor and other vehicles that can be driven are widely used as a device for assisting the driving of the vehicle, it is hard to find any specific suggestion about the hardware for mounting the GPS module in a vehicle such as a tractor.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, it is a primary object of the present invention to provide a GPS module capable of universally mounting a dual GPS and necessary sensors or modules to a traveling device including a tractor.

The GPS module of the present invention includes: a plate-shaped mounting plate that can be mounted on a roof of a tractor; A pair of GPS antennas on both sides of the mounting plate, the pair of GPS antennas being mounted on the mounting plate through an antenna block having a predetermined height; A pair of beacons provided on both sides of the mounting plate; And a module cover installed at an intermediate portion of the mounting plate to form a GPS module for processing a signal sensed through the GPS antenna or a space for accommodating a sensor for sensing a position and a direction.

Here, the antenna block may have a predetermined space therein so that other components can be built in.

It is preferable that a connection groove for receiving a connection line for electrical signal connection is formed on the upper surface of a corresponding mounting plate between the module cover, the warning light, and the GPS antenna.

It can be seen that the GPS module of the present invention having the above configuration can be simply mounted on a traveling vehicle such as an autonomous traveling tractor or the like. In the GPS module of the present invention, a module including a GPS module or a sensor capable of detecting a position and a direction when driving is built in, so that it is possible to control more easily (autonomously) It is expected to be performed. Further, the GPS module according to the present invention has versatility that can be applied not only to a tractor but also to all vehicles that use the vehicle by using a mounting plate.

1 is a perspective view of a GPS module according to the present invention;
2 is an exploded perspective view of a GPS module according to the present invention;

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail based on the embodiments shown in the drawings. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the GPS module of the present invention comprises a flat mounting plate 10 for mounting in a roof of a tractor or other vehicle. The mounting of the GPS module of the present invention can be facilitated by mounting the mounting plate 10 to a loop such as a tractor by a method such as bolting or the like. It goes without saying that various modifications are possible to the structure and components for fixing the mounting plate 10 to a traveling vehicle such as a tractor.

On the mounting plate 10, various components for performing the functions of the GPS module are installed. First, a pair of GPS antennas 20 (20a, 20b) are installed on both sides of the mounting plate 10. By providing the pair of GPS antennas 20a and 20b in this way, the traveling directions can be grasped substantially by calculating using the signals received by the respective GPS antennas 20a and 20b.

The GPS antennas 20a and 20b are mounted on the mounting plate 10 through antenna blocks 22a and 22b. The antenna blocks 22a and 22b are provided so that the GPS antennas 20a and 20b can have a high position when practicable. Also, as shown in the figure, the antenna blocks 22a and 22b have a box shape capable of forming a certain space therein. By forming the antenna blocks 22a and 22b in a shape having a predetermined space in this way, other necessary components such as parts for signal connection can be built in the antenna blocks 22a and 22b It is expected.

The GPS antennas 20a and 20b and the antenna blocks 22a and 22b and the antenna blocks 22a and 22b and the mounting plate may be fixed to each other using screws or may be formed using any other method or component It can be fixed.

According to the present invention, beacons (30a, 30b) for informing the surroundings of tractors and the like can be provided. It is also preferable that the beacons (30a, 30b) Do. Such warning lights 30a and 30b are installed for safety reasons or for legal reasons, and it is a matter of course that various ones can be used for specific specifications and the like.

Here, the warning light 30a, 30b and the module cover 40 described later may also be fixed to the mounting plate 10 with a screw or a bolt, and other components or other fixing methods may be used. Can be said to be natural.

In order to assemble the beacons 30a and 30b and the antennas 20a and 20b to the mounting plate 10 more stably and apparently on the mounting plate 10, the beacon receiving portions 16a and 16b, The antenna mount portions 18a and 18b are concavely formed so as to have a predetermined depth. Through the seat portion, the warning light or the GPS antenna can be fixed with a bolt, a screw or the like in a stable state.

A module cover (40) is installed at the middle portion of the mounting plate (10) according to the present invention. The module cover 40 can be said to be mounted so as to form a predetermined space between the module cover 40 and the mounting plate 10. Inside the module cover 40, a GPS module, an RF modem, or an inertia measurment unit (IMU) including a CPU capable of calculating a GPS signal captured by the GPS antenna may be incorporated. That is, in addition to the GPS module, a module including a sensor capable of detecting communication or a current position or a traveling direction can be installed inside the module cover 40. [

It is expected that the concave seating portion 12 can be formed on the mounting plate 10 of the portion where the module cover 40 is installed so that it is possible to maintain a clean and stable position. In the present invention, in addition to the configuration of the seating portions 12, 16, and 18 for maintaining the external appearance or stable position, a large number of concave connecting grooves 14 are formed on the upper surface of the mounting plate 10 have.

The connection groove 14 is formed on the upper surface of the mounting plate 10 between the module cover 40 and the warning light 30a or 30b and between the warning light 30a or 30b and the GPS antenna 20a or 20b. . In this connection groove 14, a line for electrical connection such as a connection line for signal connection or a power supply line for supplying power may be inserted.

That is, according to the present invention, an electrical connection line connecting the above-described respective components is installed in the inside of the connection groove 14 formed on the upper surface of the mounting plate 10 for signal connection or electricity supply. . Therefore, it is anticipated that the low connection line connecting the components of the present invention can provide reliability that can be most stably supported both for running of a tractor or the like or for other external forces.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a basic GPS module capable of mounting on a mounting plate 10, such as a tractor, parts necessary for traveling of a vehicle or parts required for autonomous traveling of a tractor . It will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention as defined by the appended claims.
