The method of controlling the lighting of the instrument panel according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail as follows.
First, when the driver operates the
In a state in which the illumination of the
In a state where the instrument panel illumination is controlled in the second illumination control mode, if the driver manipulates the trip switch in step S104 to control the instrument panel illumination to another state, only the illumination for the cluster LCD and digital speedometer display is turned on in step S105 The remaining instrument panel illumination controls the illumination of the instrument panel in a third illumination control mode that goes off. Thereafter, when the driver again operates the trip switch as in step S106, the
If the user desires to maintain the instrument panel illumination state in the state where the instrument panel illumination is controlled as in step S105, the user operates the
In this case, only the illumination of the digital
In a state where the lighting of the instrument panel is controlled in accordance with the lighting control mode selected by the driver in the same manner as described above, if a WARNING situation occurs as in step S110, the procedure goes to step S111 to illuminate all of the instrument panel illumination. Here, the emergency situation may be the case where the driver hastily depressed the deceleration pedal, and in addition to this case, it may include all the emergency situations that may occur while driving.
When the operator again operates the set switch as in step S112 in the state where all of the instrument panel illumination is turned on as described above, the process goes to step S113 and the mode is returned to the previous control of the instrument panel illumination. That is, only the illumination for the cluster LCD and the digital speedometer display area is turned on in correspondence with the third illumination control mode, and the instrument panel illumination is controlled in a state in which all of the instrument panel illumination is turned off.
According to the present invention, it is possible to selectively illuminate or partially turn on the illumination of the instrument panel according to the driver's choice, so that all the lights on the instrument panel are turned on at night to increase the fatigue of the eyes, It is possible to prevent a safety accident.
