Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE
Generally, a headrest for a vehicle is provided on an upper portion of a seat to support a rear portion of a head of a passenger. Particularly, it has significance as a safety means for reducing the neck injury of the passenger in the rear-end collision.
In recent years, as part of the strengthening of vehicle safety regulations, FMVSS North American regulations are strengthening the headrest requirements. One of the requirements is that the headrest should not be released when adjusting the height of the headrest. That is, the head rest should be removed separately from the height adjustment of the head rest.
In order to satisfy this requirement, two pawls are provided on one side of the headrest, and a plurality of height adjustment notches (in addition, a notch for detachment detection may be formed at the lower end) are formed on the first pawl, There is a tendency to introduce a structure in which a detachment notch is formed at the lower end.
Accordingly, the height adjustment of the headrest is performed by restraining and releasing the first pole with the headrest guide device, and the detachment of the headrest is performed by restraining and releasing the second pole.
In this connection, Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing a conventional headrest guide device for a vehicle.
1, a conventional headrest guiding device for a vehicle comprises a
In this case, the
However, in the case of the conventional headrest guiding device for a vehicle, since the headrest and the pawls generally form a predetermined angle, in order to satisfy the requirements of the FMVSS North American regulations, devices for supporting the first pole and the second pole are individually As shown in FIG.
In addition, there is a problem that it is difficult to mount the elastic spring 4 at an accurate position when assembling the lock portion 3. [
