Abstract
The present invention relates to a technique for improving the characteristics of a welded portion by pressing a welded portion using an up and down vibration roll immediately after laser welding. In the laser welding part, the structure is likely to be coarsened by rapid heating and quenching, and cracks may occur in the weld heat affected zone. Therefore, by using the system of the present invention, it is possible to miniaturize the metal structure by pressing and vibrating the roll at a suitable high temperature immediately after the laser welding, thereby improving the mechanical properties of the welded portion or significantly reducing the occurrence of defects such as cracks.

Referring to FIG. 3, a laser is provided to an object to be welded to form a pre-welded portion (S100). Specifically, the laser is focused on the object to be welded, and the object to be welded is raised above the melting point to form a keyhole, thereby forming a preliminary welded portion.
Subsequently, the pre-welded portion is subjected to vibration striking and pressing to form a welded portion (S200). The vibration striking and pressing can be performed by passing the preliminary weld portion through the vibration roll, and the surface of such vibration roll can be substantially uniform. Alternatively, however, a plurality of protrusions may be formed on the surface of the vibrating roll. In this case, it is possible to more effectively perform vibration striking and pressing on the pre-welded portion.
The pre-welded portion is formed by the vibration roll as a welded portion having improved mechanical properties. More specifically, by performing vibration striking and pressing on the pre-welded portion with the vibration roll, cracks, pore generation, undercut, and the like can be prevented and defects in the welded portion can be suppressed first. That is, the difference in hardness between the non-welded portion and the welded portion is reduced to prevent cracks, pore generation, undercut, and the like. The durability and the impact resistance of the welded portion can be improved and the fatigue property of the welded portion can be improved.
