Abstract
Description
More particularly, the present invention relates to a radiation filter box, and more particularly, to a radiation filter box which comprises a plurality of prefabricated bodies for blocking radiation from the outside of the body when filtering air containing the radiation material, The present invention relates to a radiation filter box in which a filter mounting structure is constituted by a drawer type replacement structure.
In general, ventilation and air purification of radionuclide handling facilities are used to protect workers in handling facilities and to suppress radioactive materials that leak from handling facilities.
Radioactive dust (radioisotope) is generated at the time of distribution and use of RI which is required when using open source of radioisotope (hereinafter referred to as "RI") used in domestic medical institutions, research institutes, nuclear power plants and industries, , The volatile RI and dust are filtered and discharged to the atmosphere using Pre, Hepa, Charcoal Filter built in the RI Safety Unit (radiation filter box) installed inside and outside the building.
At present, all radiation filter box boxes in Korea are designed and fabricated in two layers of stainless steel, so practically, there is a product that has almost no shielding effect.
In addition, since radioactivity is accumulated due to the exhaustion continuing to each filter incorporated in the radiation filter box, not much radiation is detected outside the radiation filter box.
Particularly, in the case of RI generated in cyclotron equipment, which is a production facility for radiopharmaceuticals, and hot cells, considerable radiation dose is generated due to radioactivity accumulation.
The radiation filter box is mainly installed on the outdoor rooftop, and a fence or the like is installed on the outside of the radiation filter box in order to prevent the radiation material leaking out of the radiation filter box.
In addition, it is necessary to replace the filter periodically at every predetermined time, but it takes a lot of time for replacing the filter, and there is a high possibility that the operation procedure is troublesome and is exposed to radioactivity.
Accordingly, there is a need for a radiation filter box that can more fundamentally prevent leakage of radiation, and minimize the time that can be exposed to radioactive contaminants when replacing and checking filters and the like.

As described above, according to the present invention, the heavy radiation filter box body is divided into a plurality of body parts and configured to be assembled.
Further, by constituting the inner surface of the body (body portion) with lead having a radiation shielding function, external leakage of the radioactive contaminant can be prevented originally.
In addition, the filter mounting structure is configured as a drawer-type detachable structure, so that the replacement and maintenance of the filter is very easy.
