More particularly, the present invention relates to a bio-plastic composition capable of discoloration at a high temperature and a cell phone case using the bio-plastic composition. More specifically, the present invention relates to a bio-plastic composition capable of discoloring at a high temperature by mixing cellulose powder, polypropylene (PP) And to a cellular phone case using the same.
The existing cell phone cases are mainly designed to complement the durability, grip and aesthetics of the cell phone considering only the user side of the product. In addition to this general purpose of mobile phone case, there are very few mobile phone cases that give unique functions. Especially mobile phone cases with functions to prevent safety accidents due to overheating of mobile phones are not found in the market.
Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a mobile phone case having a function of discoloring at a predetermined temperature or higher. In addition to the function as a conventional mobile phone case, it is necessary to secure user safety from unexpected overheating of a mobile phone, And a special function for allowing the user to appropriately cope with it by giving a notification to the user.
An object of the present invention is to provide a bio-plastic composition capable of discoloring at a high temperature so as to have a property of changing color when heated.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a cell phone case using a bio-plastic composition capable of discoloring at a temperature to prevent a safety accident caused by overheating of the cell phone by changing the color of the case when the temperature of the cell phone is increased by the battery .
In order to achieve the above object, the thermoplastic discolorable bio-plastic composition according to the present invention comprises 55 to 95 parts by weight of polypropylene, 45 to 5 parts by weight of natural cellulose powder, 3 parts by weight of a sion pigment and 2 parts by weight of a lubricant, The binder is characterized by containing 3 wt% based on the natural cellulose powder content.
A method for manufacturing a mobile phone case using a thermoplastic discolorable bio-plastic composition according to the present invention comprises mixing 55 to 95 parts by weight of polypropylene, 45 to 5 parts by weight of a natural cellulose powder obtained from wood, 3 parts by weight of a sion pigment and 2 parts by weight of a lubricant step; Mixing the binder with the binder in an amount of 3 wt% of the cellulose powder, and performing dry blending; Mixing the resulting mixture into an internal mixer, and melt-blending the mixture at 170 DEG C and a melt flow rate of 60 rpm; And extracting the obtained molten mixture from the internal mixer, placing the molten mixture in the mold of the case of the mobile phone, and compression molding the molten mixture.
Recently, as environmental problems have emerged, interest in environmentally friendly products is increasing. In response to this situation, studies on environmentally friendly materials that can protect the natural environment are being actively carried out. The cellulose contained in the bio-plastic composition is pure cellulose obtained from logs, but cellulose is mostly obtained from recycled wood. In addition, bioplastic products containing cellulose are advantageous for burning disposal because of low toxic gas during burning, and even when they are buried in soil, they are biodegraded and the risk of environmental pollution is low.
Since the cellular phone case of the present invention uses bioplastics containing cellulose, it is environmentally friendly, and there is a functional aspect that enables users to appropriately cope with overheating situations of a mobile phone by having a temperature change recognition function because it discolors at a temperature higher than a certain temperature It is a practical product necessary for modern society. The cellular phone case according to the present invention has a unique function of discoloring at a temperature higher than a certain temperature, and thus it is expected to have a considerable competitive power in the market.
Fig. 1 (a) and Fig. 1 (b) are graphs showing impact strength and tensile properties of the formed plate-shaped products cut to a size suitable for a physical test standard.
FIG. 2 is a photograph of a prototype of a cell phone case of various colors (brown, purple, green) made using a thermostable discoloration bio-plastic composition of the optimum property.
FIG. 3 is a photograph showing a case in which a purple cellular phone case manufactured using an optimal warm-discolored polypropylene / cellulose bio-plastic composition exhibits a heat discoloration phenomenon at a temperature of 45 ° C or higher compared with a cellular phone case before and after discoloration.
The present invention belongs to a bio-plastic composition and a product manufacturing technology using the composition. In the present invention, a bio-plastic composition having a function of heat discoloration was prepared by combining cellulose powder, a natural material obtained from wood, polypropylene, which is a general plastic, and a zeotropic pigment having a heat discoloring function, and as a practical product using this composition, Cell phone case was made. The present invention relates to a cell phone case made of a cellulosic-based warming discoloration bio-plastic composition which is an environment-friendly material and which has a specific function of changing color at a temperature higher than a certain temperature, It is a plastic product.
Bioplastics in a narrow sense include biomass plastics made from plant resources and natural plastics such as cellulose, starch, and silk, which are natural polymers, but in a broader sense, bioplastics include plastic composite compositions . Biomass plastics and natural plastics are used in the production of various eco-friendly plastics products by composing bio-plastics composition in the form of composite by mixing with conventional general plastics such as HDPE, LDPE, PP, PVC, PS, PET or biodegradable plastics such as PLA and PCL Especially, it is used in civil engineering building materials, food packaging containers, sanitary goods and so on.
Most of the plastic products used in the past are made from synthetic petrochemical raw materials, so they produce a large amount of carbon dioxide during the production process and cause environmental problems such as global warming. When they are disposed of after use, they do not biodegrade. Harmful problems, and incineration, toxic gases are emitted and cause pollution. In order to solve some of these problems, it is possible to apply a bioplastic composition comprising a conventional synthetic plastic material and an environmentally friendly natural material such as cellulose. When such a bioplastic composition is used, Contaminant factors can be reduced.
Cell phone cases currently on the market are also made of synthetic plastic materials such as polypropylene, silicone, acrylic, and PET, and cell phone cases of such materials have a problem of massive emission of carbon dioxide during product production, It has environmental pollution problem due to landfill because there is no biodegradability. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a bio-plastic composition which is environmentally friendly and economical. Therefore, a bio-plastic composition having added discolouration function is designed in a composite material of polypropylene and cellulose, which is a suitable material, and a cell phone case is manufactured As a result, we confirmed the feasibility of application of the warmed discoloration bio-plastic composition to practical products.
The thermoplastic discolorable bio-plastic composition according to the present invention comprises polypropylene, a natural cellulose powder obtained from wood, a zeolite pigment, a lubricant and a binder.
The optimum content of each component is 55 to 95 parts by weight of polypropylene, 45 to 5 parts by weight of natural cellulose powder, 3 parts by weight of a sion pigment and 2 parts by weight of a lubricant. The binder is 3 wt% .
Hereinafter, the manufacturing process of the warm discoloring bio-plastic composition and the manufacturing process of the cellular phone case will be described in detail. However, the scope of the present invention is not limited to the following examples.
≪ Example 1 > Preparation of bioplastic composition sample
75 parts by weight of polypropylene (B-310, density = 0.9 g / cm3, melt index = 0.5 g / 10 min), 25 parts by weight of natural cellulose powder (ERI powder, size = 41.831) obtained from wood, 2 parts by weight of a lubricant (Dongwon Corp., TPX1300) and 3% by weight of a cellulose powder (Lotte Chemical, PH-200) were dry blended And put into an internal mixer (HAAKE PolyDrive Rheomix 600), and then sufficiently melt-blended for 15 minutes under melt-blending conditions of 170 rpm and 60 rpm, and the resulting molten mixture was taken out from the internal mixer and placed in a hot press The mold was placed in a mold and compression molded to produce a bio-plastic specimen.
≪ Example 2 - 5 > Preparation of bioplastic composition sample
The bioplastic specimens were prepared in the same manner except that the contents of polypropylene and natural cellulose powder were set to 55: 45, 65: 35, 85: 15, and 95: 5, respectively.
The formed plate-like molded product was cut to a size suitable for the physical test standard, and the impact strength and the tensile property were measured. The graphs thereof are shown in FIGS. 1 (a) and 1 (b).
As shown in Fig. 1 (a) and Fig. 1 (b), the abscissa represents the polypropylene / cellulose composition and the ordinate represents the impact strength and tensile property, respectively.
Considering both the impact strength, which is an index for protecting the plastic product against impact, and the yield stress, which is the maximum stress that can be retained when the product is returned to its original state, given the deformation, the proportion of polypropylene / 75/25, it can be understood that it is optimal because it has appropriate impact strength and yield stress.
<Example 6> Manufacture of cell phone case of discolouration
75 parts by weight of polypropylene (B-310, density = 0.9 g / cm3, melt index = 0.5 g / 10 min) based on the bioplastic composition optimized in Example 1, natural cellulose powder (ERI powder, (Lotte Chemical Co., Ltd., PH-200) was blended with 25 parts by weight of a binder resin (trade name: 41.831), 3 parts by weight of a sion pigment (Camel Chemical Co. Korea, violet yellow pigment) and 2 parts by weight of a lubricant (Dongwon Corporation, TPX1300) 3 wt% of the powder content was mixed and dry blended, put into an internal mixer (HAAKE PolyDrive Rheomix 600), and melt-blended for 15 minutes at 170 DEG C and 60 rpm under melt blending conditions. And placed in the mold of the cellular phone case mold, and then the cellular phone case prototype was manufactured by compression molding.
FIG. 2 is a photograph of a prototype of a cell phone case of various colors (brown, purple, green) made using a thermostable discoloration bio-plastic composition of the optimum property.
FIG. 3 is a photograph showing a case of a cell phone case before and after discoloration, showing that a purple cell phone case manufactured using an optimal warm-discolored polypropylene / cellulose bio-plastic composition exhibits a heat discoloration phenomenon at a temperature of 45 ° C or higher .
While the present invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to exemplary embodiments thereof, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made in the present invention without departing from the spirit or scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims. .
