배경기술
본 발명은 개선된 세정 조성물에 관한 것이다.
미국 특허 제6,635,702 B1에는 안정적인 수성 계면활성 조성물이 기술되어 있다.
미국 특허출원 US2002/0123438 A1에는 투명 세정 세제 시스템이 기술되어 있다.
발명의 개요
본 발명은 부분적으로 신규한 세정 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로, 특정 구체예에서, 수성 아크릴레이트 공중합체 에멀션; 음이온성 계면활성제; 및 양쪽성 계면활성제를 함유하는 세정 조성물이 제공된다.

발명의 상세한 설명
특정 구체예에서, 본 발명은 하기의 성분을 함유한 세정 조성물을 포함한다:
(a) 수성 아크릴레이트 공중합체 에멀션, 바람직하게는 총 조성물의 약 2.6중량% 내지 약 3중량%(조성물의 활성량에 있어서의 %);
(b) 음이온성 계면활성제, 바람직하게는 총 조성물의 약 7.7중량% 내지 약 10.2중량%; 및
(c) 양쪽성 계면활성제, 바람직하게는 총 조성물의 약 1.4중량% 내지 약 1.7중량%.
선택적으로, 광택제, 바람직하게는 총 조성물의 약 0.5중량%가 조성물 내에 존재할 수 있다. 그러한 광택제의 비제한적인 예는 에틸렌 글리콜 디스테아레이트(ethylene glycol distearate)이다.

본 세정 조성물의 탁도(투명도)는 Hach 2100P 탁도계를 이용하여 측정된다. 바람직한 범위는 약 2 내지 약 25NTU이다.
본 세정 조성물의 점도는 바람직하게는 약 4,000 내지 약 10,000cps 범위인데, 이는 적절한 회전 속도(10 - 30RPM 사이)에서 #5스핀들을 이용한 Brookfield DV-II+ 점도계를 이용하여 측정된다.

적절한 양쪽성 계면활성제에는 베타인 계면활성제가 포함되나 이에 한정되지는 않는다. 적절한 양쪽성 계면활성제의 예에는 알킬 베타인, 알킬아미도 베타인, 알킬 설포베타인, 알킬 설타인 및 알킬아미도 설타인이 포함되나 이에 한정되지는 않고; 바람직하게는 알킬기 및 아실기 내 탄소수는 약 8개 내지 약 18개이다.
적절한 아릴레이트 공중합체에는 상기 기술한 바와 같이 미국특허 제6,635,702 B1(본원에 참고인용됨)에 기술된 것들로서, 개괄적으로는 하기의 것으로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택된다:
(a) 메타크릴산, 아크릴산, 이타콘산, 이들의 에스테르 및 이들의 혼합물 중 1 이상의 단량체 또는 공중합체;

알칼리성 중화제에는 알칼리 수산화물 및 알칸올아민, 수산화나트륨 및 트리에탄올아민으로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택된 무기 및 유기 중화제가 포함되나, 이에 한정되지는 않는다.
본 발명의 조성물이 글리콜 스테아레이트, 에틸렌 글리콜 디스테아레이트와 같은 글리콜 디스테아레이트(이에 한정되지는 않음)와 같은 현탁화제(suspending agent)로 또는 현탁화제 없이 제조될 수 있는데, 일 구체예는 어떠한 추가적인 현탁화제를 함유하지 않는다.

일반적인 제조 과정은 다음과 같다:
1. 실온의 물에 아크릴레이트 공중합체를 프로펠러 교반으로써 분산시킨다.
2. 음이온성 계면활성제 또는 이의 등가물(예, 나트륨 라우레스 설페이트, 나트륨 파레스 설페이트)를 첨가하고 균일하게 될 때까지 혼합한다.
3. 수산화나트륨으로 pH 6.6 - 6.8까지 중화시킨다.
4. 양쪽성 계면활성제(예, 코코아미도프로필 베타인)를 첨가한다.
5. 임의의 광택 성분을 첨가한다.
6. 착색제, 방향제 및 보존제를 첨가한다.
7. 필요하다면 염화나트륨을 첨가하여 점도를 증가시킨다.
8. 필요하다면 구연산을 첨가하여 pH를 조절한다.

도 1은 선택된 아크릴레이트 공중합체의 농도 및 선택된 물성에 대한 코카미도프로필 베타인의 플롯인데, 여기서 백색 영역은 높은 투명도(2-25NTU), ¼-⅛ 범위의 오리피스를 통해 분배하기 쉽도록 하기 위한 목표 점도(4,000 - 10,000), 및 조성물이 이후에 첨가된 다양한 성분과 증강된 안정도(예컨대, 120℉(49℃)에서 8개월) 및 분포 균일성으로 현탁화되게 하는 항복값(3-10)을 보유하는 배합물의 경계를 나타낸다. 베타인 수준 6.5-7.0에서 양호한 점도 및 투명도는 좁은 범위에 있었으나, 항복점은 만족스럽지 않았다는 것은 이미 언급한 바이다.
추가 실시예
실시예 1 및 2에 대하여 상기 기술한 일반적인 방법을 반복하여 하기의 성분 중 1 이상과 같이 추가 성분을 첨가했다:
에틸렌 글리콜 디스테아레이트(30% 활성) 1.5-2.5(특히 2)중량% 또는 등가의 양,
폴리에틸렌 비드(20-1000미크론 범위) 0.01-2(특히 1)중량%
보다 큰 크기의 폴리에틸렌 비드(250-2000미크론 범위) 0.01-1(특히 0.5중량%).
본원에 기술한 모든 수치의 범위는 모든 조합 및 하위 조합 및 이에 포함되는 특정 정수를 포함하는 개념이다.
본원에 기술된 것 이외에도, 본 발명의 다양한 변형이 전술한 명세서로부터 당업자에게는 자명할 것이다. 그러한 변형도 첨부된 청구항의 범주 내에 포함되게 의도하였다.

Claims (16)

  1. a) 수성 아크릴레이트 공중합체 에멀션 2.6중량% 내지 3중량%;
    b) 음이온성 계면활성제 7.7중량% 내지 10.2중량%;
    c) 양쪽성 계면활성제 1.4중량% 내지 1.7중량%; 및
    d) 시어 버터 비드(shea butter beads) 0.01 내지 2중량%
    를 함유하고,
    상기 시어 버터 비드는 100 내지 1200미크론의 직경을 갖는,
    세정 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 조성물의 투명도가 2 내지 25NTU 범위인 것이 특징인 조성물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 조성물의 점도가 4,000 내지 10,000센티푸아즈 범위인 것이 특징인 조성물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 조성물의 항복값(yield value)이 3 내지 15파스칼인 것이 특징인 조성물.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 광택제를 추가적으로 함유하는 것이 특징인 조성물.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 광택제는 에틸렌 글리콜 디스테아레이트(ethylene glycol distearate)인 것이 특징인 조성물.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 양쪽성 계면활성제는 베타인 계면활성제인 것이 특징인 조성물.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 착색제, 방향제, 항균제, 보존제, 산화방지제, 폴리에틸렌 비드, 운모, 글리터(glitter), 불투명화제, 광택제, 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택된 1 이상의 성분을 효과량으로 추가 함유하는 것이 특징인 조성물.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에틸렌 비드의 직경은 250 내지 2000미크론인 것이 특징인 조성물.
  10. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에틸렌 비드의 직경은 200 내지 1000미크론인 것이 특징인 조성물.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 시어 버터 비드는 0.01 내지 1중량%의 양으로 존재하는 것이 특징인 조성물.

    a) 아크릴산 또는 메타크릴산, 또는 이들의 조합 35중량% 내지 65중량%;

    c) 수크로스 또는 폴리알콜의 폴리알케닐 에테르; 또는 트리메틸올프로판 트리(메트)아크릴레이트, 글리시딜 메타크릴레이트, N-메틸올아크릴아미드, 또는 이들의 조합 0.03중량% 내지 3중량%를 함유하는 것이 특징인 조성물.
  15. a) 수성 아크릴레이트 공중합체 에멀션 2.6중량% 내지 3중량%;
    b) 음이온성 계면활성제 7.7중량% 내지 10.2중량%;
    c) 양쪽성 계면활성제 1.4중량% 내지 1.7중량%; 및
    d) 시어 버터 비드(shea butter beads) 0.01 내지 2중량%
    를 함유하는 세정 조성물로서,
    상기 시어 버터 비드는 100 내지 1200미크론의 직경을 가지고,
    상기 조성물은 2 내지 25NTU 범위의 높은 투명도, 4,000 내지 10,000센티푸아즈 범위의 점도, 및 3 내지 15파스칼 범위의 항복값을 보유하는 세정 조성물.
  16. a) 실온의 물에 아크릴레이트 공중합체를 프로펠러 교반으로써 분산시키는 단계;
    b) 단계 a)의 결과물에 음이온성 계면활성제를 첨가하는 단계;
    c) 단계 b)의 결과물을 균질한 혼합물이 형성될 때까지 혼합하는 단계;
    d) 수산화나트륨으로 단계 c)의 혼합물을 pH 6.6 내지 6.8까지 중화시키는 단계;
    e) 단계 d)의 결과물에 양쪽성 계면활성제를 첨가하는 단계; 및
    f) 시어 버터 비드를 첨가하는 단계
    를 포함하는, 청구항 제15항에 따른 세정 조성물의 제조방법.
