머리에 착용할 수 있게 한 착용부(210)와 상기 착용부(210)의 힌지부(211)에 회동 전개되게 구성한 용접 마스크부(220)와 상기 용접 마스크부(220)에 구비되어 용접 불꽃을 필터링하여 작업자의 눈을 보호하며 용접부위를 확인할 수 있게 한 반투명의 용접투시창(230)으로 구성한 용접 마스크에 있어서;
용접 마스크부(220)의 전면에 구비한 카메라(110)와, 초기 용접작업전 작업자가 용접 마스크를 착용한 상태에서 용접부위를 확인할 수 있도록 상기 카메라(110)로부터 전송된 영상을 용접투시창(230) 측 내면에 구비한 LCD디스플레이부(120)와, 용접 마스크부(220)의 전면에 초기 용접작업시 발생하는 용접불꽃을 감지하여 LCD디스플레이부(120) 에서의 용접 영상 디스플레이 동작이 차단되게 함과 더불어 투광동작시켜 용접투시창(230)을 통하여 투과된 용접작업불꽃을 작업자가 볼 수 있게 용접 마스크부(220)의 전면에 구비한 용접불꽃센서(130) 및 LCD디스플레이부(120)의 동작을 위한 전원을 공급하는 전원부(140)로 구성하되;
상기 LCD디스플레이부(120)는 용접투시창(230) 측에 구비되어 상기 용접투시창(230)에서 유입된 빛만 투과되게 구성된 디스플레이반밀러(121)와, 상기 디스플레이반밀러(121)의 전면에 구비되어 빛의 투과를 제어하는 액정부(122)와, 상기 디스플레이반밀러(121)와 액정부(122) 사이의 측면에 구비되어 액정부(122)에 의한 영상 디스플레이를 위한 빛을 조사하는 디스플레이조광부(123) 및 상기 디스플레이조광부(123)와 액정부(122)의 동작을 제어하는 디스플레이제어부(124)로 구성하며,
상기 카메라(110)와 LCD디스플레이부(120) 사이에는 초기 용접작업시 발생한 고 조도의 빛 영상이 전송될 경우 이를 감지하여 조도를 낮추어 전송되게 하는 영상조도조정부(150)를 구비하고,
상기 카메라(110)의 전면에는 용접 불꽃센서가 용접불꽃감지시 카메라(110)로의 과도한 조도 용접불빛이 입력되는 것을 차단하여 카메라(110)의 촬상소자를 보호할 수 있게 한 용접불꽃차단셔터(111)를 구비하며,
상기 LCD디스플레이부(120)가 용접 마스크를 착용 후 용접 마스크부(220)를 닫았을 때만 동작되게 착용부(210)의 내측에 디스플레이제어부(124)로 착용신호를 전송하는 착용감압센서(161)를 구비하고, 착용부(210)의 힌지부(211)에 용접 마스크부(220)가 닫혔을 때 이를 감지하여 디스플레이제어부(124)로 닫힘 신호를 전송하는 닫힘감지센서(162)를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 용접 마스크.
