Abstract
a) 스팀의 존재 하에서 상기 에틸벤젠을 촉매적으로 (catalytically) 탈수소화하여, 본질적으로 비반응 에틸벤젠, 스티렌 단량체, 수소, 스팀 및 디비닐벤젠을 포함하는 탈수소화 유출 가스를 촉매적으로 생성하는 단계;
b) 상기 유출 가스를 냉각시키도록 적어도 급랭 칼럼 (quenching column) 에서 수성 환류 (aqueous reflux) 로 상기 유출 가스를 급랭하여, 오버헤드에서 가스를 획득하고 저부에서 수성 환류보다 더 따뜻한 액체 스트림을 획득하는 단계;
c) 상기 오버헤드 가스를 응축시켜, 액체 유기 상, 수성 상 및 기체 상을 생성하는 단계;
d) 단계 c) 의 상기 수성 상의 일부 또는 전부를, 상기 단계 b) 의 급랭을 위한 환류로서 이용하는 단계;
e) 단계 b) 에서 획득한 액체 스트림을 디켄터로 보내어, 수성 상 및 유기 상을 회수하는 단계를 포함하는 프로세스이다.

도 2 는 도 1 에서 스트림 (6) 에 혼합 탱크가 삽입된 것이다.
Claims (7)
- 에틸벤젠으로부터 스티렌 단량체를 생성하기 위한 프로세스로서,
a) 스팀의 존재 하에서 상기 에틸벤젠을 촉매적으로 탈수소화하여, 본질적으로 비반응 에틸벤젠, 스티렌 단량체, 수소, 스팀 및 디비닐벤젠을 포함하는 탈수소화 유출 가스를 촉매적으로 생성하는 단계;
b) 상기 유출 가스를 냉각시키도록 적어도 급랭 칼럼에서 수성 환류 (aqueous reflux) 로 상기 유출 가스를 급랭하여, 오버헤드에서 가스를 획득하고 저부에서 수성 환류보다 더 따뜻한 액체 스트림을 획득하는 단계;
c) 상기 오버헤드 가스를 응축시켜, 액체 유기 상, 수성 상 및 기체 상을 생성하는 단계;
d) 단계 c) 의 상기 수성 상의 일부 또는 전부를, 상기 단계 b) 의 급랭을 위한 환류로서 이용하는 단계;
e) 단계 b) 에서 획득한 액체 스트림을 디켄터로 보내어, 수성 상 및 유기 상을 회수하는 단계를 포함하는 프로세스. - 제 1 항에 있어서, 급랭 칼럼과 단계 e) 의 디켄터 사이의 액체 스트림에 혼합 탱크가 삽입되고, 단계 e) 의 상기 디켄터에서 유기 중질물의 유기 상으로의 이동을 야기하기 위해, 상기 혼합 탱크에 유효량의 방향족 성분이 도입되는 프로세스.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 단계 e) 의 디켄터에서 나오는 수성 상이 스트리퍼 (stripper) 에 통과하게 되어, 잔류하는 유기 성분의 부분이 제거되는 프로세스.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 단계 c) 로부터의 수성 상이 급랭 칼럼의 상부로 보내지고, 단계 a) 로부터의 탈수소화 유출물이 상기 급랭 칼럼의 하측 단부로 보내지는 프로세스.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 단계 c) 로부터의 상기 수성 상은 분무 노즐에 의해 급랭 칼럼 내에 분산되는 프로세스.
- 삭제
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 분무 노즐 위에 급랭 칼럼의 상부에 1 이상의 세척 트레이가 위치되고, 이 세척 트레이에 분무 노즐로 보내지는 수성 상의 일부가 공급되는 프로세스.
