- 제 1 기판을 준비하는 단계;상기 제 1 기판상에 배향막을 도포하는 단계;상기 배향막을 러빙하는 단계;상기 제 1 기판상에 액정을 적하하는 단계;상기 제 1 기판과 대응되는 제 2 기판을 준비하는 단계;상기 제 2 기판상에 배향막을 형성하는 단계;상기 제 2 기판상의 배향막을 러빙하는 단계;상기 제 2 기판상에 실라인을 형성하는 단계;상기 실라인과 일정한 갭을 가지며 평행한 유기라인을 형성하는 단계;상기 제 1 기판과 제 2 기판을 합착하여 상기 실라인과 유기라인사이에 모세관을 형성하는 단계;합착된 상기 제 1 기판과 제 2기판을 단위 액정표시패널로 절단, 가공하는 단계; 및상기 모세관으로 액정이 유입될 수 있도록 상기 유기라인에 개구부를 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 개구부 형성단계는 상기 단위액정표시패널의 검사단계에서 액정이 중력방향으로 쏠려 중력불량이 발생했을 때 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 액정이 상기 개구부를 통해 모세관으로 빨려오라감으로 액정의 일부가 액정층에서 제거되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 모세관을 형성하는 단계는상기 실라인 및 유기라인 패턴을 구비하는 스크린을 제 2 기판상에 배열하는 단계;상기 스크린상에 실링재를 도포하면서 상기 실링재를 프린팅하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 제조방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서, 상기 모세관을 형성하는 단계는상기 제 2 기판상에 실 디스페서기에 의해 실라인을 그리는 단계와,상기 실라인과 평행하며 일정한 간격을 가지는 유기라인을 그리는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치 제조방법.
