Claims (5)
- 중성자 발생기와;상기 중성자 발생기가 내장되며, 상기 중성자 발생기에서 발생된 중성자를 열중성자로 변환하는 감속재가 충진된 차폐함과;상기 중성자 발생기에서 방출된 중성자와 연료봉이 반응하는 영역에서 검사를 위해 이송되는 상기 연료봉을 사이에 두고 상기 차폐함과 마주하는 면에 배치되는 감마선검출기;를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중성자 발생기를 이용한 연료봉 탐상기.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 중성자 발생기는 펄스형 중성자 발생기인 것을 특징으로 하는 중성자 발생기를 이용한 연료봉 탐상기.
- 청구항 2에 있어서, 상기 중성자 발생기는 발생된 중성자가 열중성자로 변환되어 상기 연료봉에 조사되도록 상기 차폐함의 내측에서 상기 연료봉과 마주하는 벽면으로부터 일정 간격 이격되도록 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중성자 발생기를 이용한 연료봉 탐상기.
- 청구항 1 내지 청구항 3 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 감마선 검출기는, 상기 연료봉에 열중성자가 조사된 후 지연 감마선을 제외한 방사선이 소멸되는 일정 시간 경과 후에 검사를 위해 이송되는 연료봉의 영역 중 상기 열중성자가 조사된 연료봉의 영역이 위치하는 위치에 설치되어 상기 연료봉에서 방출되는 지연 감마선을 검출하도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중성자 발생기를 이용한 연료봉 탐상기.
- 청구항 4에 있어서, 상기 감마선검출기가 복수열로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중성자 발생기를 이용한 연료봉 탐상기.
