Abstract
The present invention relates to a new power distribution protection coordination method that can solve the problems caused by the current limitation when applying the superconducting current limiter generated in the over-current protection method of the existing distribution system protection method. In the case of cooperative protection of the distribution system by using the present invention, by cooperating with the protection regardless of the magnitude of the fault current, it is characterized in that the failure position is accurately identified and blocked when the superconducting current limiter is applied to the distribution system.
The present invention utilizes the rate of change of the effective value current that is conducted to the protective device according to the fault location when a fault occurs. If a fault occurs on the power supply side of the protection device, the current is drastically reduced and if the rate of change of the effective current decreases below the corrected value, a signal (Su) is sent to the upper protection device adjacent to the power supply of the protection device. On the contrary, if a fault occurs on the load side of the protection device, the current will increase rapidly and if the rate of change of the effective value current exceeds the fixed value, it will trip itself after a time delay. The signal Sl is preferentially tripped. That is, when the load side of the protection device fails, the signal (Sl) received from the adjacent lower protection devices is preferentially tripped by receiving the signal (S inc ) by the current increase rate of the protection device that occurs after a time delay. In addition, an interlock circuit is used to prevent tripping by a signal due to the current increase rate of the protection device and a signal due to the current decrease rate of the lower protection device.
In the present invention, when a fault occurs at the load side of the protection device, when a trip signal is received from all the lower protection devices adjacent to the load side of the protection device, the corresponding protection device closest to the power supply side at the failure position is first opened to cut off the failure. It is a protection method. When the distribution protection method proposed in the present invention is used, it is advantageous to cut off the fault section quickly without any time delay if it is determined that the failure of the magnetic area is achieved. When the superconducting current limiter is applied to the distribution system, the protection method of the existing distribution system according to the failure current decreases. The problem of the overcurrent protection relay method can be solved. In addition, if the lower protection device adjacent to the protection device malfunctions and fails to transmit the trip signal to the protection device, it has a post-operation function that blocks the fault current by the trip signal due to the increase rate occurring after a time delay.

Description
Currently, the protection equipment installed in the distribution system performs the protection coordination by using the overcurrent protection relay method using the magnitude of the fault current. Therefore, when the superconducting current limiter is applied, the protection coordination problem occurs between the protection devices as the fault current decreases. The present invention proposes a new protection coordination scheme using the rate of change of the effective value current conducted to the protective device according to the fault location regardless of the magnitude of the fault current as a solution to solve the above problems.
Power technology using superconductors has been continuously developed and commercialized. The superconducting current limiter (superconducting current limiter), one of the superconducting power application technologies, is currently making efforts for demonstration tests beyond the development stage.
When the superconducting current limiter is applied to the actual distribution system, the protective devices installed in the distribution system are protected by the overcurrent protection relay method using the fault current size. The issue of protection cooperation will arise. In order to solve this problem, a new protection coordination method is needed that can provide protection coordination during the protection period regardless of the magnitude of the fault current.
The present invention is to improve the protection coordination problem between the existing protection device according to the failure current reduction when applying the superconducting current limiter to the distribution system. To this end, by calculating the rate of change of the effective value current conducted to the protective device according to the fault location as a criterion for the fault section, if the value exceeds the increase threshold or falls below the decrease threshold, the signal is transmitted or received according to the fault location. Fault section can be separated.
Currently, the protection equipment installed in the distribution system performs the protection coordination by using the overcurrent protection relay method using the magnitude of the fault current. Therefore, when the superconducting current limiter is applied, the protection coordination problem occurs between the protection devices as the fault current decreases. In the present invention, the existing problem can be solved by a new protection cooperative method using a change rate of the effective value current conducted to the protective device according to the fault location regardless of the magnitude of the fault current as a solution to solve the above problems.
In the present invention, when the superconducting current limiter is applied to the distribution system, even if the fault current decreases, the fault current is changed instantaneously, and the breaker is operated by judging whether there is a fault from the deviation of the effective value current. That is, if a failure occurs on the load side based on the protection device, the increase rate of the effective value current increases above the fixed value. On the contrary, when a failure occurs on the power supply side, the decrease rate of the effective value current decreases below the fixed value. By using this principle, it is possible to solve the problem of protection coordination due to the reduction of the fault current when the superconducting current limiter is applied to the existing distribution system protection coordination system by determining the fault location and operating the corresponding protection device.
The present invention is configured as a new protection cooperative method to improve the problems appearing when the superconducting current limiter is applied to the distribution system.
AC power, transformer, line and load are connected in three phases to simulate the distribution system, the protection devices are connected to the position to be protected, the current transformer for sensing the current of the protection device, and the current sensed by the current transformer. A digital relay that calculates the rate of change of the effective value current using a differentiator after calculating the instantaneous value of the effective value as an effective value, a communication device that transmits a signal generated by the digital relay, and operates by a signal of the communication device and the digital relay It consists of a breaker (protective device).
Operation of the new distribution system protection method according to the present invention is as follows.
The digital relay proposed in the present invention always detects the current through a current transformer, calculates the instantaneous value of the current as an effective value, and then detects the rate of change of the effective value current using a differentiator. If a fault occurs on the power supply side of the protective device depending on the fault location, the rate of change of the effective value current decreases below the reduced value. On the contrary, if a fault occurs on the load side of the protective device, the rate of change of the effective value current exceeds the increase value. Increases. That is, when a failure occurs on the power supply side of the protection device, the rate of change of the effective current decreases below the correction value, and transmits an external signal Su to the upper protection device adjacent to the power supply side of the protection device. On the contrary, when a fault occurs on the load side of the protection device, an external signal (Sl) is received from all lower protection devices adjacent to the load side of the protection device, and a trip signal is output from the protection device. As the fault current is conducted, the rate of change of the effective value current increases above the set value and interlocks with the internal signal (S inc ) generated after a time delay to prevent simultaneous input. For example, if a failure occurs in

1 is a representative diagram showing a logic circuit of a new power distribution system protection cooperation method to be implemented by the present invention. The instantaneous current flowing through the current transformer is calculated as the effective value current, and the rate of change of the effective value current is sensed using a differentiator. The fault location is determined by the rate of change of the detected effective value current. If a fault occurs on the load side based on the protection device, the lower protection device reduces the current change rate and generates an internal signal. It is transmitted to the device as an external signal (Sl). On the contrary, the corresponding protection device adjacent to the power supply side of the lower protection device receives an external signal Sl from the protection devices adjacent to the load side and sends a trip signal without time delay if the rate of change of its effective value current does not decrease below the set value. To separate. At this time, if a part of the lower protection devices adjacent to the load side of the protection device malfunctions and does not send an external signal Sl, the protection device increases the rate of change of the effective value current by more than the corrected value due to the fault current that is conducted. Then isolate the fault section.

The protection equipment located on the power supply side with reference to the protection equipment is called the upper protection equipment and the protection equipment located on the load side with reference to the protection equipment is called the lower protection equipment. The protection device operates with the algorithm shown in [Fig. 1], and the change rate of the effective value current decreases below the correction value and the signal transmitted to the upper protection device is called Su, and the change rate of the effective value current from the lower protection device is below the correction value. The signal transmitted to the protection device is reduced to become the input signal Sl of the protection device.
4 is an operation flowchart of the new distribution system protection method proposed in the present invention, which shows the operation flow of FIG. The protective device corrects and inputs the reduction threshold, the increment threshold and the delay time of the effective value current, and detects the conduction current and the external signal Sl. In addition, the sensed current is sampled and the rate of change of the effective value current is calculated. If the calculated value is less than the reduction value of the effective value current, a signal Su is transmitted to the upper protection device. On the contrary, when the calculated value is larger than the increase correction value of the effective value current and the external signal Sl is received from the lower protection devices, the protection device is tripped. If a part of the lower protection devices malfunctions and the protection device is not tripped by an external signal, the protection device trips after a time delay because the rate of change of the effective value current is increased beyond the increase threshold.
