Abstract
Description
LED는 전력을 빛으로 변환시키는 효율이 좋고, 종래로부터 일반적으로 사용되어왔던 램프에 비하여 소형이고 수명이 길뿐만 아니라 전기에너지가 빛에너지로 직접 변환되기 때문에 전력이 적게 소모되어 에너지 효율이 우수한 고광도를 발하는 특성을 가지고 있지만, 그 발광부위가 반도체 소자로 이루어져 있으므로 필라멘트를 사용하는 백열등이나 음극선을 이용한 형광등 등의 발광소자에 비해 상대적으로 열에 취약한 단점이 있다. 따라서 따라서 LED는 장시간 사용시 그 발광소자로부터 발생되는 열에 의한 열적스트레스로 인하여 반도체 소자가 쉽게 열화(degradation)되어 성능이 저하되고 수명을 단축시키는 원인이 되므로 LED 램프의 사용가치를 만족시켜주고 충분한 조도를 얻기 위해서는 LED에 대용량의 전류를 인가하여야 하는데, 그만큼 고열이 발생하게 되므로 발생되는 열을 효과적으로 방출시켜줄 수 있는 방열구조가 매우 중요하다.
Claims (2)
- 소켓에 결합되는 소켓 결합부로부터 회로 수장부가 형성되고, 회로 수장부의 하부에는 LED 모듈이 배열된 기판과 난반사 커버가 형성되고, 금속재로 형성되는 회로 수장부의 하우징 외주면으로부터 수직방향으로 다수개의 방열핀이 방사상으로 형성되는 공지된 구조의 매립형 LED 램프에 있어서,각각의 방열핀(5) 하단부에는 단차가 형성되는 원형부에 수나사(53)가 형성되어 난반사 커버(4) 상부에 형성되는 고정링(40)의 암나사(41)와 체결되면서 LED 모듈 기판(3)의 상부에 형성되는 공간(S1)과 다수개의 방열핀(5) 사이에 형성되는 공간(S2)이 외부로 개방되는 공간으로 연결되어 LED 모듈기판(3)에서 발생하는 고열이 방열핀(5)으로 전도됨과 동시에 공간(S1,S2)을 통하여 외부로 방출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 LED 램프의 방열 장치.
