Claims (4)
- 사용자 장치에 있어서,전송용 데이터(data for transmission)를 생성하도록 구성된 상위 계층(higher layer) 자동 반복 요청 (ARQ) 메카니즘과;상기 상위 계층 ARQ 메카니즘으로부터 상기 전송용 데이터를 수신 - 수신된 데이터는 상기 상위 계층 ARQ 메카니즘으로부터 데이터 블럭들로 수신됨 - 하고, 상기 수신된 데이터를 전송 패킷들(packets for transmission) - 상기 패킷들은 크기가 상기 데이터 블럭들보다 작고, 각 패킷은 순방향 에러 정정 (FEC) 인코딩/데이터 변조를 가지며, 상기 패킷들은 직교 주파수 분할 다중 접속 (OFDMA) 무선 인터페이스를 이용하여 전송됨 - 로 포맷하며, 패킷에 대한 확인응답이 미리결정된 시구간 내에 수신되지 않았다면 원래의 패킷 또는 선택적으로 수정된 패킷을 재전송하도록 구성된 물리 계층 송신기 - 물리 계층 ARQ 메카니즘과 상기 물리 계층 송신기는 상기 상위 계층 ARQ 메카니즘에 대하여 투명하게(transparently) 동작하는 것임 - 와;수신된 패킷들 및 재전송 통계를 수신하고 복조하도록 구성된 물리 계층 수신기;주어진 패킷에 대한 대응하는 확인응답을 상기 물리 계층 수신기에서 전송하도록 구성된 ACK 송신기 - 상기 주어진 패킷에 대한 대응하는 확인응답을 수신하도록 구성된 메카니즘이 상기 상위 계층 ARQ 메카니즘에 대하여 투명하게 동작함 - 와;수집된 재전송 통계를 이용하여 각 패킷에 대한 특정 인코딩/데이터 변조를 조정하도록 구성된 적응 변조 및 제어(adaptive modulation and control, AMC) 유닛을 포함하고,상기 수집된 재전송 통계가 적은 수의 재전송을 나타내면 더 높은 능력(capacity)의 인코딩/데이터 변조 스킴이 상기 특정 인코딩/데이터 변조로서 선택되고, 상기 수집된 재전송 통계가 많은 수의 재전송을 나타내면 더 낮은 능력의 인코딩/데이터 변조 스킴이 상기 특정 인코딩/데이터 변조로서 선택되며,OFDM 주파수 세트로부터의 서브채널들은 선택적으로 무효화되고(nulled), 저품질(poor quality) 서브채널의 사용이 미리결정된 기간동안 배제되며, 재전송 레이트 또는 링크 품질이 이전에 무효화된 서브채널에 대해 고품질을 나타내면 이전에 무효화된 서브채널을 다시 상기 OFDM 주파수 세트에 추가하는 것인, 사용자 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 패킷들은 주파수 영역 등화를 갖는 단일 반송파(SC-FDE; single carrier having frequency domain equalization) 무선 인터페이스를 이용하여 송신되는 것인, 사용자 장치.
