본 발명은 휴대폰에서 보행자신호등의 녹색등 점등시간을 시각 장애자나 청각 장애자들이 쉽게 인식할 수 있도록 진동으로 알려주는 기술에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명은, 사용자가 신호등이 설치된 횡단보도에 접근하면 휴대폰이 횡단보도 모드로 전환하는 과정과; 상기 전환된 횡단보도 모드에서 교통제어기로 보행자신호등 점멸에 관련된 정보를 전송해 줄 것을 요청하는 과정과; 상기 교통제어기로부터 보행자신호등 점멸에 관련된 정보를 수신하여, 상기 사용자에게 녹색등 점등 잔여시간을 서로 다른 주기의 진동으로 나타내는 과정에 의해 달성된다.
