- 테트라메틸오르토실리케이트, 폴리에틸렌글리콜 및 요소를 초산 수용액에 분산시키고, 교반한 후, 이 혼합 용액을 공중합시켜 모노리트 덩어리를 제조하는 단계(단계 1);상기 단계 1에서 제조된 실리카 모노리트를 분말화하는 단계(단계 2);상기 단계 2에서 분말이 된 실리카 모노리트를 세척 및 소결시켜 강화하는 단계(단계 3); 및상기 단계 3에서 강화된 실리카 모노리트에서 입자분별 과정을 통해 선택적으로 입자를 분별하는 단계(단계 4)를 포함하는, 다공성 공동 구조를 갖는 실리카 모노리트 분말의 제조방법.

- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 공중합에서 사용되는 반응 혼합물의 사용량은 테트라메틸오르토실리케이트 60 ~ 80 중량%, 폴리에틸렌글리콜 15 ~ 25 중량% 및 요소 1 ~ 25 중량%인 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 모노리트 분말의 제조방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 공중합에서 사용되는 반응 혼합물에 첨가하는 초산 수용액의 농도는 0.002 ~ 0.1 N임을 특징으로 하는 실리카 모노리트 분말의 제조방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 공중합에서 반응 혼합물은 20 ~ 45 중량%, 초산 수용액은 55 ~ 80 중량%로 혼합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 모노리트 분말의 제조방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 공중합에서의 반응 온도는 40 ~ 80 ℃인 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 모노리트 분말의 제조방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 단계 2의 분말화는 볼밀(ball mill) 또는, 마노 막자 및 막자사발을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 모노리트 분말의 제조방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 단계 3의 세척과정에서는 물과 메탄올을 순차적으로 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 모노리트 분말의 제조방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 단계 3의 소결하는 온도는 250 ~ 350 ℃ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 실리카 모노리트 분말의 제조방법.
