1 is a block diagram showing the overall configuration of an integrated terminal device for providing image information using a DSRC terminal according to the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 1, the overall configuration of the integrated terminal device includes a central processing processor 111, a low speed DSRC application module 113, a high speed DSRC image application module 115, a short range wireless signal processor 120, and a location. The short-range wireless signal processing unit 120 receives a signal from the short-range wireless communication base station 112 and restores it to the central processing processor unit 111, and transmits the transmission data requested from the central processing processor unit 111 to a radio signal. The signal is transmitted to the high speed or low speed short range wireless communication base station 112.
The low-speed DSRC wireless signal processing unit 121 of the short-range wireless signal processing unit 120 receives a radio signal from the low-speed short-range wireless communication base station 112 and restores it to the central processing processor unit 111, the central processing processor unit The transmission data requested from the 111 is converted into a wireless signal and transmitted to the low speed short-range wireless communication base station 112, and the control signals necessary for wireless communication are exchanged with the central processing processor 111.
The high speed DSRC radio signal processor 122 is driven when the traffic information collection or distribution service, which is a low speed ITS service, terminates or leaves the toll road billing service area, thereby providing location-based road and guide service, digital video service, video traffic service, and high speed wireless. Transmit and receive signals for the operation control service of the communication terminal.
The high speed DSRC radio signal processor 122 communicates with the central processing processor 111 to switch service modes according to a preset priority or a state set by a user control and access device to perform an additional service.
The central processing processor 111 receives a signal from the high speed or low speed short-range wireless base station 112 in the entered area as the integrated terminal device enters the DSRC area, and receives the information of the received signal, for example, the DSRC roadside base station ID in the signal. After determining whether it is a low speed DSRC area or a high speed DSRC area based on the information, the low speed or high speed DSRC radio signal processor 121 or 122 is controlled to perform a low speed or high speed DSRC service.
Here, the central processing unit 111 is composed of one or more processors to recognize and process the wireless communication service area for the low-speed ITS service preferentially, when the low-speed ITS service is terminated or out of the toll road billing service area Additional services are performed by switching the service mode according to a predetermined priority among the location-based road and guide service, digital video service, video traffic service, and operation control service of a high-speed wireless communication terminal or a state set from a user control and access device.
The ITS peripheral 114 is controlled by the low speed DSRC application module 113 performed by the central processing processor 111. At this time, the low-speed ITS application module 113 is a set of command procedures for performing the low-speed DSRC radio signal processing unit 121 is executed by the central processing unit 111, smart card, billing display (LCD), voice conversion device Control the low-speed ITS service peripheral unit 114, the security processing module and the like.
The additional application peripheral device 116 is controlled by the fast DSRC image application module 115 performed by the central processing processor 111. Here, the high-speed DSRC image application module 115 is a set of instruction procedures for performing applications other than the low-speed ITS service, such as location-based road and facility guidance service, image traffic information service, and the like. It operates by referring to the road and facility image information provided from the processor 140 and, if necessary, outputs the image through the image decoder 142.
The location information receiving module 130 receives data from a location information providing terminal, for example, a GPS satellite, calculates a current location, and periodically provides the location information to the central processing processor 110.
The digital image processor 140 may store, modify, and store image data such as road conditions and road facilities, and store image information data of roads and facilities that may be referred to by the central processing processor 111. And an image decoder 142 for converting image information data into an image signal, and an image control and output unit 143 for controlling and outputting the converted image signal.
That is, the digital image processor 140 may include a memory 141 in which road and facility image information data is stored, an image decoder 142 for converting the image data into an image signal, and an audio control and output unit 143 for controlling and outputting the converted image signal. ), And is referenced by the central processing unit 111.
The reason why the integrated terminal device configures the digital video signal using the digital image processing unit 140 is that traffic is transmitted as simple text or message to an LCD display or an audio converter such as a billing display device in a conventional low speed ITS service area. Because it informs the situation, the actual traffic situation of the complicated road is not accurately understood, and the temporal and spatial utility is inferior. However, the high-speed DSRC radio signal processing unit 122 uses real-time image information of the intersection, road guidance according to the traffic volume, construction site image. You can receive location-based road and facility guidance services such as guidance, emergency phone guidance, and rest facility guidance, and to provide road guidance and road designation information through video.
The data connection unit 150 receives external additional service data from the computer 161 or the data storage device 162 by wire and transmits it to the central processing unit 111.
That is, the data connection unit 150 is connected to the external computer 161 or the data storage device 162 and has a function of receiving data, and provides the received data to the central processing unit 111. The central processing unit 111 receives data stored in the external computer 161 or the data storage device 162 through the data connection unit 150 and updates the data stored in the memory 141 of the digital image processing unit 140. .
The user control and access device unit 150 provides an interface for connecting the user to the terminal so that the user can select the operation method of the terminal in order to provide convenience to the user.
The central processing processor 111 operates in a low speed and high speed mode, that is, provides a low speed ITS service using the low speed DSRC radio signal processor 121 in a low speed DSRC service area, and in a region other than the high speed DSRC radio signal processor ( 122) can provide location-based road and facility guidance services such as real-time video information of intersections, road guidance, construction site video guidance, emergency call guidance, rest facility guidance, etc. Provides information guidance and location-based traffic information service.
The integrated terminal device having the above configuration includes location-based road and facility video guidance services such as intersection status guidance, road guidance, construction site guidance, emergency telephone guidance, and rest facility guidance services, and location-based traffic information service guidance. Additional services such as service and road designation information guide are provided, and additional types of additional services may be added depending on the situation.
The operation of the integrated terminal device having the above configuration will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 5.
2 is a flowchart illustrating a process of determining a service by an integrated terminal device using a DSRC wireless communication method according to the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 2, first, the central processing processor 111 receives a signal used in short-range wireless communication through the short-range wireless signal processing unit 120 to check whether a short-range wireless communication (DSRC) area has been entered (S100). .
In the entry check step S100, the central processing processor 111 selects one or more of the following two conditions by using the inspection criteria of entering the short-range wireless communication area. First, when the central processing processor 111 reads the measured value of the radio wave reception signal strength used in the short-range wireless communication and the predetermined value or more. Second, the normal communication frame is received from the short-range wireless communication base station 112.
Subsequently, the central processing processor 111 receives the radio signal using the low speed or high speed DSRC radio signal processor 121 or 122 in the short range radio signal processor 120, and then the information in the radio signal, for example, DSRC roadside base station ID information. It is determined whether the integrated terminal device has entered the high speed or low speed short-range wireless region by using (S110.S120). Here, the central processing processor 111 drives the low-speed DSRC radio signal processor 121 to receive a radio signal as it enters the short-range wireless area, and the integrated terminal device is based on the ID information of the received DSRC roadside base station radio signal. Determine the entered area.
As a result of the determination in step S120, when the integrated terminal device enters the low speed short-range wireless region, the central processing unit 111 determines that the low speed ITS service is required and the low speed short-range wireless base station 112 through the low speed DSRC signal processing unit 121. By communicating with the server, a low-speed ITS service is performed (S130).
On the other hand, when the integrated terminal device enters the high-speed short-range wireless area, that is, the low-speed short-range wireless communication area or when the toll road automatic collection service is not required, the central processing processor 111 performs road and facility guide service. In order to perform a high speed DSRC service for performing a video additional service such as a predetermined time, the high speed DSRC signal processor 122 communicates with the high speed short-range wireless base station 112 (S140).
In the high-speed DSRC service performing step (S140), the check result is stored in the central processing processor unit 110 so that the central processing unit 111 may always refer to the processing of the short range wireless communication area check result (not shown). It is stored in or transmitted to the high-speed DSRC radio signal processing unit 122, it is recognized that the high-speed short-range wireless communication area in the stand-by state or additional services such as location-based road and facility guidance service, traffic information service, digital video service, etc. If the progress of the service is required, the express additional service is stopped and the toll road service is processed again.
While performing steps S130 and S140, the central processing processor 111 checks a communication state of the wireless signal received through the driving low speed or high speed DSRC radio signal processing unit 121 or 122 at a predetermined time interval, and then checks it. It is determined whether there is a service change based on the result (S150).
As a result of the determination in step S150, when there is a service change, the central processing processor 111 receives the communication state value and proceeds to step S120 to perform a subsequent step.
3 is a flowchart illustrating a dual mode processing procedure between a low-speed DSRC service and a road / facility image guide service using the integrated terminal device according to the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 3, first, the central processing processor unit 11 of the integrated terminal device checks whether it has entered the short-range wireless communication area for the low-speed ITS service in the entry step S100 (S200), and then enters the low-speed wireless communication area. Check whether the progress of the ITS service is necessary (S210). When the low speed ITS service is required, the low speed ITS service is performed for a preset time, for example, 50 milliseconds (S215), and the process returns to the short range wireless communication area entry check step (S100). In step S200, it is determined that the user has not entered the short-range wireless communication area or the low-speed ITS service is not required (S210) or the high-speed ITS service area determines whether the road is an additional video service. If the processing of the facility information service (S220) is necessary to process the road and facility information service as an additional service, the road and facility information service is performed for a predetermined time, for example, 54 milliseconds (S225), and the low speed short-range wireless communication area again. Go to the entry check step (S100). Even if the processing of the road and facility video guide service, which is an additional video service, is not required, the mobile station proceeds to step S100.
4 is a flowchart illustrating a process of providing image information by an integrated terminal device according to the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 4, the central processing processor 111 may receive the digital image through the digital image processor 140 through the digital image processor 140.
