Abstract

A drum type washing machine is provided to prevent water from being leaked to a connection part between a first and a second screw unit by interposing a sealing member at internal of a connection groove. A drum type washing machine comprises a water tank(30) having a front part(31) and a rear part(32), a first and a second thread parts(37,38), and a sealing member(39). The front and the rear parts of the water tank are connected each other. The first and the second thread parts respectively face a rear end of the front part and a front end of the rear part of the water tank. The sealing member is placed at a connection between the first and the second thread part to prevent water leakage.
